"Is that normal?" Aurick asked off handedly before getting a condescending eyeroll from Astra. "Normal to slip; you know what I meant. You need to know so if it's going to happen again we can keep an eye on it."

After that he spent most of his time just watching Kokouai work. It was one thing to say you were good with gears, but quite another to actually see it in action. He'd never be able to replicate anything she was doing if he tried, though from the effort she was putting in he knew she'd be walking away with more than a few biscuits.

He owed her a little more than he initially thought. How much would it have been to actually send for someone?

"Okay, here it goes." Astra gave the attached crank a few good turns to get it started and once everything started moving on it's own, creating it's own energy, the system started to work once more. For a moment Aurick feared it would start slipping, but so far all the bags that had been previously locked midair were being dropped into the upper landing.

Astra clapped her hand with a cry of excitement. "You did it! You're amazing!"

"You can have a few now." He chuckled. "I know you placed your order, but after that you gotta take home a few extra. I'll even toss in some more jam if you want."

"If you don't mind coming by when we need help I'll make sure he gives you whatever you want." Astra beamed. Now that the contraption was up and functional it was also empty so she clapped her hands. "Alright! Everyone get to moving! We've got a lot of flour and it's gotta go somewhere!" Their cousins groaned, some even muttering under their breath before the process started all over again.

Aurick just shook his head and gave Kokouai's back a clap. "Seriously though; thanks. You have no idea what this means to her."
