"Ah, gotcha. You'll have to guide me then." Ziya smiled before reaching out to give her a small pat on the shoulder. "I'm not an expert but I've dealt with my fair share of mages. They all had to start somewhere, ya know?" The hybrid smiled encouragingly before the girl brightened at the mention of Fiadah. Ah, so he was right! Not that he had much of a doubt but still. Ziya chuckled and nodded at all the questions. "Yes, yes and yes."
"I don't know your name though." He smiled at the Matori teasingly. "Fiadah said she had a sister but got a bit distracted hunting so I never got more information. It was hard not to assume though that the other Matori I've ever seen in Zena after meeting her wasn't related." He gave a slight shrug before taking a step forward and then stopping. "So what would you prefer? A free ride or to walk to your destination?"

"Well, uhm, that's the thing? If I guided you then we'd be just as lost as we are now. Or were you referring to magic?" If he was hoping she could point the way out of there then they would be in the woods for a very long time or at least until one of Papa's beasties found them. Maybe even Sev, if she could break away from the treat bag long enough.
"Ah, it's Nimia. Fiadah's my younger sister." Her younger, taller, heartier sister. What a pair they made. "Flying might be better so we can look for the camp, but I don't have much experience with chiavi." She should have had it, but honestly they intimidated her too much. The most she'd been in the air was the few times Baba had taken her up on Sev, but even then the raptrix didn't go far. "We won't be too heavy for your mount?"

A chuckle left Ziya's lips. "Definitely not magic for me." He replied as he pondered their options. "Flying definitely seems the best and if you just have some vague sense of direction then we'll figure it out. Worst case you'll be staying the night at my home." His family would agree that it was a much better scenario than allowing a girl to wander out in Zena at night. Even if this area was a bit more hospitable than the far north it was still full of dangers, the wilderness hiding many creatures with a bitter cold that crept in during the night.
"My chiavi can handle us both." Ziya promised. "She's bigger than others since she's been raised well. She may not fly as well with two, but she can handle short distances fine. We'll just make stops as necessary." He smiled encouragingly before gesturing for Nimia to follow him. "Let's just head back this way and if you're hungry I'll grab some snacks before we go flying."

Nimia's cheeks instantly darkened. "Oh NO no no no, I couldn't do that." She waved her free hand in front of her. "My fathers would...I mean, they would worry too much and I just...I'm sure we'll find it." Nimia nodded along. In all honesty she had no idea if she could spot the right trail, but now she more determined than ever to try!
This was turning into one of those books Oly had tried to keep her from buying. The dashing young gentleman would save a beautiful woman, take her home 'in a storm' and -
Oh no no no, I have to go home.
The petite matorian lifted her skirt and followed after him. "Does she have a name as well?"

"Don't worry. We don't have to share a bed." Ziya couldn't help teasing as he continued leading the way, making certain to hold back any stray branches and the like so that Nimia could pass without any issues. "Støv or as your sister likes to call her, Dusty." He replied without missing a beat, a small chuckle leaving him as he reflected upon that meeting. And speaking of familiars...Ziya frowned and gave a small whistle as the little parak came darting up from behind them again, his tail brushing across the snow before leaping towards the hybrid boy. Ziya paused, crouching slightly so that the parak could land on his shoulder where it clung almost like a fur, and then he continued walking along while making certain to point out any noticeable landmarks to Nimia just in case she got lost in the area again.
