Oh I'll always visit pgod. It some of my beginnings on this website. [8
It is really scary with all these school shootings. People I don't think they get the mental help they need. Interesting story when I was a teenager, the school next to mine had a school shooting. That was shortly before I joined. They were large, but not huge. Personally I graduated with 50ish people in my class. However, that's because most of where I lived were farmers. We even had our own little hobby farm. All the cute animals, no growing crops. We had a little bit of everything. Chickens, goats, cats, dogs, miniature horses. I hated the male goat. o-o;; We also had a pig at one point. XD
It was cool though because we also had a little woods with a creek in it and we could go camping in our back yard. Unfortunately, when the housing market crashed in like 08/09 they could barely stay afloat and we had to sell the animals. That and my parents weren't the best at holding onto money lol I've always wanted to write to the new owners to see if I could bring my kids by to show them what I talk about.5 kids. I give you props. My kids are either best friends or worst enemies. no inbetween. Whats the best part of Wyoming for you guys?

My favorite part of Wyoming is probably the lower population. I believe everything has a pro and con and having lived in California, most of my life, where there are so many people and all the conflicting ideas of those higher numbers seems a little overwhelming sometimes. I guess that is where the idea of a laid back lifestyle of smaller populated areas becomes more appealing. But of course the con is fewer entertaining things to do without traveling to other areas. It takes us about 8 hours northwest travel to get to Yellowstone or northeast to Mount Rushmore but only 4 hours north to Devils Tower (ever seen the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"?). But we live about 90 minutes away from Denver (to the south) so there is usually something there to do.
I'm glad you like the laid back attitude and the lifestyle of the younger people. That's interesting because I think we're 8-10 hours from Mount Rushmore as well, just the other side. xD That's REALLY cool that you live kind of close to the Devils Tower. Have you guys visited it then? Have you visited mount rushmore?
When you travel to Denver and everything do you ever partake in any edibles or anything? xD sorry I have to ask. I think I would if I traveled out that way.
Sorry for not responding sooner. My dad came up from GA for a surprise visit 4laugh so I've been hanging out with him. I was supposed to go to Duluth but since he came up I decided to stay back because I didn't even think I was going to be able to see him aside from video chatting this year. My hubs had mixed feelings about it since it was his grandfathers birthday, but he understood too since it's not every day I can spend time with my dad. I've been on a lot less since he came up and he's leaving I think Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm not 100% positive.
We have driven past Devils Tower about 3 times over the last 4.5 years but we did stop and go in to the park once. I couldn't appreciate how big it is until I got right up close to the base of it. Mount Rushmore has been our destination at least 3 times since we moved here 4.5 years ago. We also visited it more than 20 years ago before our boys were born. Have you been there too? Of course we eat at what ever place is closest while visiting Denver but I haven't heard of any places renown for their edibles other than Johnsons Corner, world famous cinnamon rolls but they are actually between Denver and Cheyenne.
No worries about responding instantly. I love the instant send/receive capability of the Internet in comparison to "snail mail" but it doesn't mean we have to write (type) up messages back and forth as soon as we see them. I personally only check on Gaia once daily nowadays.
Glad to see you are spending time with your father and yes, imho, that is a lot more important then keeping in touch with others you have met online.
