Ushi came over, letting her keep the lead.
"Well done Kechi, it would be hard to find a finer beast anywhere." He extended his hand for the janarim to sniff, which he did but didn't nudge Ushi like he had Kechi.
"Seems to have people he likes and those he does not, will fit right in with our family, your Mother is the picky one FYI."

"You are both picky, but picky is good. It means he knows what he wants and so do I."
She smoother her hand over his snout.
"Thank you so much Daddy, he is all I have ever wanted, I mean just look at him! So majestic with a great bearing and carriage. He really is the dream."
Kechiri couldn't stop staring. She wondered if she would be able to sleep in his stall, "Can I stay with him tonight?"

"You know your Mother has definitely said that about me a time or two." Ushi flicked his hair so it shimmered over his shoulders. He too knew he was beautiful.
"Lets let him settle in, I would like to let him burn off some energy in the smaller paddock first, you can visit him though as long as you have an adult with you. Just until we can build a strong trust bond and refresh his training a little."

She pouted a little but Daddy was probably right.
"Okay fine, if you say so Daddy." Do you think Mommy and Sissy will like him?" She loved him already, she couldn't wait for the first day that she got to sit on his back and see that new beautiful view of the world.
She would be so protected, because her janarim would eat anyone who tried to harm her. Or her Daddy would, whichever came first.

Her heart squeezed at her pout. She was just so adorable.
"I am so very proud of you Kechiri."
He was sure the Janarim would come around soon enough, but for right now baby steps were best. It would take a bit of time to settle him in, let him get used to the charge and his new Master. He would no doubt be happier back in more open spaces where he could run. Ushi felt the same way when he was boxed in too often.
