As for Fafnir — Faustite had no reason to overstep Fafnir's command of the situation. He'd just suffered a potential breech in identity; he needn't any reminders from Faustite to impose a warning to her about balancing two new lives. Doing so would amount to pushing Fafnir's nose into his own mess. Faustite trusted that, if he had imminent questions, Fafnir would have asked. In their absence, either the questions didn't require an imminent answer and would be routed to Netherite, or he simply did not have any.
For himself, he wanted a nap and an astonishing amount of calories. As Fafnir spoke to his new charge, Faustite was wondering if Albite's wallet could sustain a couple extra-large pizzas. Of course, Celadonite still had money to his name, but it felt odd to eat like a starving animal in front of someone who ate so little… Maybe the change had affected his metabolism, too?
The hand on his arm roused him from his wandering thoughts, and Faustite realized he had spaced out while staring down their newest officer. He looked to Fafnir, his eyes and core dimmer than when he had first arrived, and nodded in acknowledgement. His face was one that expressed exhaustion openly and easily; knowing this, he assumed Fafnir already predicted that he was going to take a nap.
"Will stop by later," he said with a nod, He gave the new recruit a last look, then in a half-turn, vanished in smoke.
