At first Zira was confused about exactly why they needed to shove this giant log, but at the same time it was fun to work together like this. Eventually when the log gave way and the insects beneath were revealed the girl let out a delighted gasp. "That's amazing!" She found herself reaching over to hug the stranger spontaneously, a deep flush decorating her cheeks as she quickly let go. This was not her brother after all! Still she couldn't help smiling towards him appreciatively. "I wouldn't have thought to find a dead tree like this." It was so huge but at the same time she could have easily walked past it since she didn't know the forest paths and the local terrain well.

"Thank you." She gazed towards the few insects that hadn't scurried away just yet and noticed the shimmering trail that the sunlight could now reveal without the log in place. It seemed like they had found a few diascia after all! "They don't cause rashes, right?" She asked with a sheepish grin, her hand already slipping into her satchel to work free one of the jars for the slime collecting.

Imri's gut instinct was to tense up and adopt the most dramatic, disgusted, terrified scowl he could possibly muster. If Zira hadn't let go so quickly he would have shoved her off, but as it stood he settled with scuttling as far away as he could while still remaining on the scene. Goddess this was getting out of hand. Why was she so touchy?!

"...The ground stays wet...and cold...er...under trees like that...." He mumbled. "It's better for them." Maybe they were found other places; maybe the others were bigger and more plentiful, but these were what Imri could find. Still, it didn't seem to matter to her. He suspected he could have found one with a third eye and she wouldn't have known the difference.

"I don't think so."

"Got it." Zira gave him a bright smile as she calmly scooped up the gleaming goop and placed it in a jar. She would have to remember this spot in case she needed to capture the actual diascia but this was good for now. "I have a brother back home in Jahaur...he'll like to see this when I return." She started suddenly as she finished collecting the slime and started to secure another trail of goop into a second bottle. Zira's gaze was almost wary as she glanced back towards the stranger. "His name is Noll and I'm Zira." She looked back towards the slime as she continued working, her words soft as she tried to keep from scaring the diascia away. "It's funny cause Noll looks more like Papa but he's a lot gentler, more like our grandpa who is an earthling healer. Papa is a tough Aishan warrior and I'd like to be like him one day. Do you know if you'll follow the Aishan path?" Maybe she was rambling a bit now but there was nothing much else she could do since the diascia seemed more sensitive to her movements than to the sound of her voice. Zira carefully and slowly moved along, her voice trailing off towards the end as she dared to peek at the stranger. Had she rambled too much?

Ah so her family had a daughter and an off one too. From what he'd heard it was common from Aisha, though, and while not exactly good it was far less frowned upon. He'd been told once from an older Elarian that he might 'fit' better with them, but they weren't his tribe. His was just...a little rougher, is all.

When she said her name he just looked at her blankly. Was she...was she expecting him to tell her his? Why did he need to know who her brother was? "....You said your name already." Was what he eventually settled on.

The part that struck him as truly odd was the part of having a 'papa'. Knowing she was part earthling meant it was possible but to hear that he was Aishan was just...uncomfortable. Was that...was that a thing?

And that was about as much as he could handle for one day. So, now that she was out of grabbing rang, Imri turned heel again. "Well...goodbye." And this time he was much, much faster about getting away.

"I-I guess I did." Zira pursed her lips into a pout. Maybe she would have remembered introducing herself if he had given her a name in turn! Still, the youngling didn't have much of a chance to argue her case because the stranger was already darting away from her. A soft sigh left her lips but the youngling could only shake her head before finishing up her gathering. It was probably best if she returned as well. Maybe one day she could run into the stranger and he wouldn't be as shy and it surely wasn't that hard to find out about any Elaria younglings in the area if she truly wanted. Should she though if he seemed so intent upon hiding? Zira frowned before simply shrugging. Let's just focus on this for now. At least he had helped her and maybe in the future she could repay the favor if ever given the chance.
