Which would no doubt cause a round of bickering from both sides. As much as Siofra could bring out the protective and soft hearted brother in him Zohra had a habit of getting under his skin in a way that only a 'brother' could.

"Did you ever think of being with anyone else? Even after all of this?" It would have been easier for his father to date or even marry someone else. He had the looks for it and a well paying position. Someone with a less 'complicated' lifestyle wouldn't have been so easy to find and Ari had wondered from time to time what kept him. Not that he wasn't happy for it, but just...

He didn't even bother hiding the sigh that accompanied those words. "Good. I don't think I could handle living with babies. They're cute but they're also loud." And their house was loud enough as it was.

Still...he might not have minded it if he had true siblings instead of cousins. Even if he'd heard first hand about how his mother absolutely never wanted to be pregnant again it was clear that they loved each other and they hadn't exactly had the most conventional relationship. She'd always told him how she wanted to tell everyone they were hers so maybe in the future she could.
