She ducked her head to meet his gaze as he peeked over his fingers. She was still smiling but she did have a look of concern in her eyes for his wellbeing. Before she could ask him anything else he was up and closing the distance between them. "Who would have thought my husband would be a bi softie." She wrapped her arms around him. "I'm glad you're happy. I'm.. is there something more than happy?"

Ergon shook his head and rolled his eyes at himself. "Only for certain things. Don't tell anyone." He turned his head to nuzzle Riya's neck lightly. "There are bigger words than happy, but I'm having trouble with the regular words right now." He laughed and shook his head again. "There's so much to get ready. When are you due?"

"Oh I will tell everyone. They're gonna know when they see you with the baby anyways." Riya teased at him. She had to admit seeing him having trouble with regular words was cute. She wouldn't know what to do if he started to trip over bigger words. "We still have a while. The healer thinks I'm just shy of two months." It would explain why she wasn't showing and also a few other oddities she'd noticed. "Don't go into panicked dad mode."

"I like to believe that I will be a little more put together by the time the baby arrives," he replied with a laugh. So it was still early. They had plenty of time to mentally prepare and get the house ready. "Just a little bit of panic?" Ergon held up his hand to hold two fingers closely together. At the moment though, he was still just too excited to worry. Concern would definitely come later. With a much lighter laugh, he brushed at his eyes and bent to catch Riya's lips for a kiss. "I still think the closet for now," he murmured with amusement. There was so much planning to do!

"Well I would hope so." If Ergon was still a shocked mess by then she might have to close the store for a few days to let him get himself together. "Only a little. Not full on panic though. I will have your sister come down here if you do." The threat was a very real one. Even if she smiled while she said it. When he caught her with a kiss she chuckled and returned it, cupping his face with her hands. "Closet is good. And maybe some gender neutral clothes." Since they didn't know what they were having it seemed the safer option.
