o.0 Do you know what would be the perfect excuse for something to go wrong. If the school were to put on the cursed play Macbeth. When this play has been preformed it is bad luck to say macbeth on stage in anyplay and in several plays people died. That would be awesome fighting against the will of an age old curse!

I think we should put a vote on what we're going to do, because if people who want to participate in this event, doesn'tknow the story... Then... Well... It will be kind of unfair to others who don't know it and then we do it and they know nothing about it.

Hmmm . . . it might be fun to see all the old Ria peoples act out a 'play' of like the history of Ria . . . though, meh eek Anyways, I also think it would be fun if not everyone actually knows the play . . . so that, like, their characters will mess up the lines and such sweatdrop

About your first idea Miki... We'd have to get all the old Rians in the first place.. >.> Also, again, not every one will participate.
Well, that's the point of it Miki... The characters will mess up the lines so it's funnier, but come the time when we actually want to pretend to do the play in front of the 'whole school' it would be good to actually have knowledge on what you're doing. In fact, when going to do anything, it's good to have knowledge.
Like... Say if I was going to audition for Romeo and Juliet, and I got in. The moment we start rehersing, I won't know what to do, or what to act like. Even with rehersing for hours and after being told what to do, it will be hard to play a character when I don't even know what's right or wrong.
I mean, if I'm playing the nurse in Romeo and Juliet, and I walk on stage and talk like I'm some angry baka, then even if I was chosen to play the part, I won't do a good job on it because I don't have any knowledge on the play.
That's why we should do something every one knows.

then maybe it should be based of a children's story, but revamped x3 Just so everyone knows the plot and then wings the lines xD

I like Romeo and Juliet. That's prob the story that everyone knows but the thing is its too typical. Maybe we can do something like like
THE UGLY DUCKLING!
Or
CAT IN THE HAT!
or some children's story. That would be cute. Although Cat in the Hat doesnt have enough characters hmm we could just do I dunno something.

puss in boots? or how about journey to the west xD I could find one of the adventures and post it. It involves a priest (gender varies), a monkey king(duh in servitude to the priest can be male or female), the pig, and the sea monster who is actually a condemned human for reasons I forget it might've been cannibalism anyways they search for enlightment from budha and such if interested tell me and I'll post one of the stories

Though i dun't know the story very well... I was very little when i watched it and heard of it.
Dunno about the broadway plays. I mean its a little complicated and not everyone knows them.
Besides
Its more of a challenge and fun to screw up childhood stories XD~*

The little match girl is TOOO sad to be a play. And there are no characters. We should do something fun!
You know we could always mix up abunch of stories. Haha then characters from other stories could meet up with each other and yah have confusion and gang up on the heros and stuff ^>^. It could end up being an improv (mostly unscripted) play.

stupiDx That's a cool idea xD. It would also be fun RPing our characters preparing the play! And rehearsing and stuff. LOL. This reminds me of the manga Fruits Basket, in the volume where they do the play Cinderella xP Yuki (Fairy Godmother): What is your wish Cinderella? Saki Hanajima (Cinderella): I wish... for the ballroom to burn into ashes. Yuki: ... Uhh... maybe something a bit more pleasant?! *cough* Hanajima: ... Ok, I wish for meat. Yuki: ... You know what, I'll just send you off to the ball =_= ^ Haha. Something like that. Lol I was thinking the exact same thing. "Something Cinderella-ish" Hiro: ... So.. what was that all about? Kisa: That's why Momiji: it's "Something Cinderella-ish" XD
