It felt so good to be held by a woman again. For the first time in a long time she felt truly safe, every muscle in her body relaxed. Then she realized that it had been a long time and she stiffened. She had cried all over the woman's shirt.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Its just like a dam broke and I couldn't stop it. I forgot what it was like to be held."

If she was being truthful her own eyes were starting to water just a little bit.
These kids had been alone. That formed a deep and likely lasting bond. At elast she had had Iso as a Father figure, and Ristadis as a sister. She would have been lost without them.

This almost made her want to cry all over again.
"Yes please." She said in a watery voice. Maybe she could drown her sorrows and emotions in it.
"I feel a little bit like a great weight has been lifted that I had been unaware I was carrying."
It was a strange sensation to be sure. She watched the amber brown tea pour into her cup, transfixed.

"I am of the midn that tea with the right company goes a long way in the fixing of all problems."
She refilled her cup as well.
"You seem to be getting quite close to my son. I do hope he is not too dour for you. He can be a bit closed off at times but it seems to be how he processes things."

"On the contrary, he seems to relax well enough around me." She flexed her large blacksmith muscles.
"I rather think it is my ladylike charm." Sae grinned brightly at Nin.
"Did you know he is actually capable of smiling? I mean a true smile not the sneer that is usually there." Both woman laughed uproariously.
