He was making himself emotional. It was a crazy plan, but it just might save her from a life of torment.

Especially if her husband wasnt fertile. Gods having the man’s child after what he had done to her already would be a life sentence.

He took a deep breath realizing he could be sentencing himself to a similar fate potentially. “I’ll do it, but you must survive.”

"In order for me to be the other man, your husband actually has to qualify as one."

He was dead serious. It was obviously not a love marriage, a farce in every way but the damn wedding papers. He had hit her, had injured her. Would no doubt break her spirit if she remained tied to his sinking ship.

"My father had many failed relationships until he found my Mother, he never had kids with any but her. He is a great man. He did however have a hoard of children with my Mother. Family is the most important thing to both of them. If you chose to become my woman you will be welcomed by the whole clan. I cannot promise all of them came out as well adjusted as me but hey, they are my family and I love them all."

He was slightly concerned he was coming off as a bit too lovey dovey but the words he spoke were the absolute truth.

"They are quite intimidating but in the best way if that makes sense."

"I belive it is your Father's wife hating you that is the real concern."

"It matters, I appreciate that."

She had chosen him after all, that was something..even if he had known her for all of one calamari bites.

"She misses much, this Merle." Nin would have turned herself inside out before anyone in her family felt the way that the step mother had made this woman feel.

"Our kids will not have to worry about arranged marriages I promise you that."

He wanted to bundle her up and keep her safe, but that was the one thing he couldn't do..yet.

"Your other siblings are there any who would take your side?" He hoped she wasn't alone.

"I cannot abide by abuse, and this might be the only way to save you from a lifetime of suffering."

He was going to have to talk to his mama about this for sure, Nin was wise beyond her years. He might have to talk with his father too. But at the very least his Mother.

He wasn't normally known for rash decisions as he had grown up being one of the most level headed of the whole brood but well, this was strange circumstances.
