Sessrumnir tried to hide his amused smile at Alastor’s obvious interest, but he couldn’t quite manage it. That was fine, he didn’t think they would have been able to contact Soleiyu that easily. Heading to Sessrumnir now meant they would have more time to figure out what they could work on. And if they could help Soleiyu with testing his devices, maybe they would be able to get more information on where Ganymede was.
He could only assume that she was alive, otherwise the Negaverse would likely be boasting about killing a Princess already.
“Hope you like cars. I’m parked over near the reservoir,” he said with a nod in the direction they should go. “Thanks for your help. I hope you know this means we’ll be bothering you at least once a week until Alastor can get back to Eternal.”

Soleiyu glanced in the direction Sessrumnir nodded, though he couldn't see the car. It just meant that they’d been thorough in doing what they could to pick a space away from everyone else where they could power up and–climb trees, apparently.
He liked cars better than he liked walking so he wasn’t going to complain. Michael was the one who was going to have to deal with him picking sticks and leaves out of his fur in the back seat of his car, anyway.
“If you think I’m going to complain about regular appointments to check in on that starseed and to see how you two are doing, you are sorely mistaken. I look forward to it. You should call me any time you have anything going on. I like having projects to work on.”
Alastor didn’t quite think he liked being considered a project, nor was he particularly enthusiastic about getting back into the car so soon, but Soleiyu had given him back at least a part of himself, and Sessrumnir was going to give him a chance to visit his namesake.
Trees and sunlight couldn’t compare to that, and despite his fondness for his recovered rank, he powered down almost immediately. Instinctively, he reached to make sure his ring was still on the chain around his neck; he had only chosen not to put it on while powered up because he knew this trip was going to be short.
He didn’t want to waste any time here that could be spent on Sessrumnir, and it took all his willpower not to just jog back to the car.
It was probably for the best that he waited for Michael to lead the way; he didn’t want to get lost here, instead.
