Yahui's face twisted in slight confusion at Faust's latest demands. After stroking his newly-fuzzy chin for a second, he asked, earnestly, "Mauvians have always been the most advanced in the universe. My people were far behind yours in technology. Why are you asking me?"He shook his head, chasing the half-finished thought away, and turned his attention back to his food. "I'm grateful for your help, though. Thank you." The Mauvian was given a gracious nod, as close to a bow as he could get from the table. "Yes, I'll have to make gifts for both of you."

"Oi cat," Rob protested. "It ain't my fault if the chicken is dry. Blame the bloody fry cook."He gave Yahui a good long look, reevaluating him for clothing – because the small man certainly couldn't walk around Destiny City in that sackcloth tunic he was currently wearing. Yeah, kids' clothes would have to do, as he was too small for adult human clothes. There'd be no mistaking him for a kid, though, not with the chin fuzz. Pushing back his chair, he stood and stretched. "Right then, Yahui, we need to get you dressed. Gonna leave you here, and I'm going to head to the local op-shop and see what I can find for you. Some jeans, a few shirts… should be able to find something suitable. What are your favorite colors, mate? So I can narrow things down."Then he turned to Faust. "Thanks, cat, for coming over on such short notice. I owe you big. And thanks for getting Yahui sorted. You can have the rest of the food on my plate – just don't steal from him, right?"

"Aw hell, this one's got a mouth," he shot back to Rob, though it was more like mouf than mouth. "Like I 'member every goddamn thing about bein' a goddamn Mauvian…" He chuffed, and sat, and sulked as he turned his back on the conversation.
Literally. While sitting on the table, he simply turned around so his back was to both Rob and Yahui. As if that somehow separated him from them, or forced them to grovel for his forgiveness.
He chuffed again at the sound of gifts, though he licked his chops nonetheless.
Faust thought about ignoring Rob's thanks, too, but he acknowledged it reluctantly. His stump of a tail twitched. "Whatever, just bring me the fish like you said you would."

Yahui nodded respectfully to the cat and his host, and they resumed their breakfast. All the while, the alien began to think about how he could repay the favor to Faust.
