Marcella peeked around her sister's leg, waiting excitedly for the answer. The woman seemed like she would be scary, based on the tongue and the exotic way she was dressed - and yes, the smile she offered was toothy, perhaps almost manic. But she smiled down at Marcella nonetheless, then looked at the older girl, arm held out so that the girls could see the keldari in all its glory. Both heads moved independently, although they met together a few inches down the body. Little tongues slipped out, and both sets of eyes were alert and bright - it wasn't the case of some morbid attempt at taxidermy, or mutilation of a live snake.
"Well - I'd sssay so! Definitely my little luck charm. Do you want to hold her?"
"Yes!! Ah-- er... yes. Zadia?" Marcella had jumped up, arms extended, but then slunk behind her again, cheeks pink.

The woman certainly had a flair for the dramatic, but Zadia was used to such from her Uncle. Her eye liner could certainly use some work, and that gaudy rouge...
Still, she was excited to see that the creature was natural. There were no traces of magic coming from it's being; either as a curse or some sort of illusion. It simply was which brought about a bright smile from the older hybrid. She'd been content just to watch it move, but then Marcella...
"Go on, if you want to. Or would you rather I hold her?"

As sweet as the creature seemed to be, Marcella... couldn't put aside the thought that she might hurt it, and TWO sets of fangs might snip at her! Her father had always expressed that animals were as scared of her as she was of them, but having grown up in Belrea as she had she'd not had much exposure to actual beasts, and didn't know how accurate that statement was.
"I ... maybe she'd... be more comfy with you, sissy?" Marcella haltingly suggested, smiling sweetly up at Zadia.

Giving the little one a comforting smile, she squeezed her shoulder and held one arm out for the creature. Instead of lifting it herself she allowed the conjoined beast to take stock of her in their own time and the tiny flicks of tongues against her exposed wrist brought out a little laugh. When the strange creature finally decided to transfer from it's mistress to her it's undulating body moved up her wrist, around the forearm and settled for a moment with it's head just on the outside of her elbow.
Patiently, she rotated her arm so that Marcella could have a better view.

She was so pretty! And... Zadia was the BEST sister in the world, to show Marcella this little creature! Marcella watched it move with wide, captivated eyes, and only when her sister held the little creature lower for her did she reach out and tentatively pet the top of their little heads. They responded with little flicks of the tongue that, like Zadia, made her giggle and pull her hand back.
Soon enough, the keldari was returned to her mistress - and Marcella happily tucked herself against her sister's side, smiling beatifically. This had been a perfect, strange outing.
