Roode steps away, and then starts going for repeated knife edge chops to Trent's chest!

Trent would be hit with three rough chops, before he looked to grab the next chop and throw Roode inside the same corner he was in

Roode was grabbed and forcefully thrown into the corner, the connection with the turnbuckle padding jarring him.

Trent looked to respond to the earlier chops by throwing some strikes of his own to the face of the cornered opponent

Roode was struck repeatedly in the corner by Trent, trying to shield himself, but some were connecting.

Trent saw Roode was well guarded in the corner, only letting some shots through his defense. That'd why he looked to grab the arm of Roode and whip to the opposite corner

Trent followed Roode as soon as he was tossed, looking to hit a jumping forearm in the face of the champion within the corner

Roode didnt have time to avoid the oncoming Trent and he was struck with a forearm smash! He stays there for the moment.

The huge maneuver was hit! Trent then looked to drag Roode out of the corner by his head, looking to hit a quick suplex in the center of the ring

The suplex would connect as well, as it was ALL Trent here in the early goings as Roode was having trouble keeping up!

Roode had his leg hooked but kicks out at 1 and a half, rolling over and sitting up.

Trent would expect it somewhat, as this was the undefeated chanpion. Trent looked to follow the seated Roode, looking to slip in a headlock
