Kresimir resisted the urge to repeat his last motion so instead he exhaled slowly. With a nod he said ”Okay. If it’s that important to you then I’ll do what I can to help. I actually already have an idea. My youngest daughter wants to travel to Yael to see where her mother is. Why don’t you stay here while we prepare supplies for both of you. You and Arianum can get to know each other and then I’ll take a ship with both of you to Yael just to help Itotia and myself feel better about you girls being over there. Does that sound like a deal?” He raised his eyebrows at her in question.

As Vepkhia listened to her brother’s plan, she couldn’t help but get her hopes up. She could get along with pretty much anyone so she wasn’t worried about not getting along with her niece! Vep leaned over quickly and gave Kres a huge hug. ”Do you mean it? Would you really do that for me?” She asked hopefully. She knew her brother wasn’t the kind to promise something and not fulfill that promise. Still it had been awhile since she had seen him and people change, Vepkhia definitely had changed at least a little bit.

Kres nodded his head, ”The way I see it is I can have two people there who can rely on each other if needed. I’m not saying you can’t go off and do your own thing but at least at first it gives you a familiar face and someone to get acquainted with Yael. A little bit of ‘safety in numbers’. Even if it is just one other person. Just promise me you’ll try and help Arianum make good decisions while you two are together? It’ll kind of be her first time away from home too and as the older one…” He looked at her with a look so similar to their father.

The young girl nodded enthusiastically. Vepkhia should have known that Kres would find some way to try and support her plan, he was that kind of person. She bounced in her seat excitedly. ”Thank you thank you!” Vep couldn’t wait to get going but as they had discussed they would travel matori a little bit and hopefully find ‘Gramps’ all while gathering supplies for her and her niece to travel to yael for the first time! How exciting!

Kres chuckled at his little sister’s enthusiasm. Sometimes he forgot how little she had been allowed to do growing up since she always kept getting hurt or bruised up. She wasn’t necessarily coddled but she definitely had what he would consider a ‘safe’ childhood. He hoped she had learned something from that and wouldn’t be reckless over in Yael, that she would make smart decisions and know her own limits. ”Alright, let's start making a list of things we’ll need to start gathering.” And together they wrote out a list of different things, Kres added where they could get some of the objects though others they would have to look for still. They had a plan, and that was a good start.
