Offering freedom that wasn't an 'end'? That would've been the exact opposite of what they'd done, but then, so too was letting her live? Leaving her alive was just as bad as letting her go, wasn't it?

Albite bit off the ends of his thought, because it was just going to circle itself like a snake - or the planets round the sun. He didn't get it, he couldn't, and what he could've offered her she wouldn't have wanted - no matter how kind her eyes and sad her smile. She would've held out her hand with an olive branch and he would've tried to put his through her chest to make it something like *peaceful* for the both of them. She deserved that - dignity - a return to rebirth. That was better for a Princess who looked like an angel -- minus the wings.

Bloodstone went on and Albite growled a sigh and rolled his eyes to the nonexistent heavens. He stood reluctantly, took his damn time about it even; all the while praying for something like patience with this man who clearly needed a snickers, or maybe he was a kit-kat kind of guy? Whatever, he needed something to chew on, clearly; bones, sinew, the blood of his enemies in a bloody-marry-esque style cocktail?
Albite frankly did not care for being told 'up' and 'off' by just 'anyone'. He nearly told Bloodstone that he wasn't 'his' to boss around. Nearly, almost --
And stepping away from Ganymede was like stepping out of the pull and warmth of the sun. He wanted to orbit her for hours and beg little asks and have every inane thing answered no matter how little sense it made. He wouldn't get that, though. Not now.
Maybe later? Even as Gany spoke in dismay, he could only look at her in confusion, with the saddest little frown, a shake of his head, he wore dismay like a hurt. Shoved his heft of dreads out of the way just to give his hands something to do, because he wanted to ask Gany who the ******** would've thought to stop him from coming by to say *Hi* again. Just because he didn't wield a badass battle-axe or a higher rank didn't mean anything to him. Just like using doors, or knocking --- but whatever, it was fine if she didn't want to see him anymore.
He could let it go and live with it - could put his ear to the ground and *hope* -- that they didn't ******** themselves royally by leaving her down there to do the thing she threatened ever so sweetly.
To commit the theft of his friends, his loves, over and over and over again...
What she saw as saving? Oh, how he took it personally, small anguishes against him, because if not for her? He might've had a chance to *keep* those who were important to him close, just for this lifetime, just for a little bit longer.

Preferably uninterrupted." and he did level Bloodstone with a *look* - how could he have not cared? Didn't he know how many people they'd lost, were losing still?! An end to that meant understanding more than *point and kill it dead* bullshit.
Sometimes you needed honey colored eyes to catch flies with. Sometimes talking worked. Senshi weren't people in the same way's youma weren't people and leaving it beyond understanding was smothering the chance to -- to what? Win the game? Have one more chess piece at play?
Albite knew the him of now didn't give a s**t about the him a thousand years in the future or past - how could he have? Beings that would've been born into entirely different circumstances. One on earth and the other an entire planet to their reign! Even if that planet was a very small moon of a thing that fell just below Jupiter's radiant belt.
It didn't mean he wanted to know any less though.

N Bloodborn coulda snagged him outta there if he needed to, Albite never complained for that sorta fun.
