Evan looked at her, though there was worry in his expression. He reached over to take her hand and gave it a squeeze before he pushed the bag over. “Save it for later. It’ll heat up okay. But it’s comfort food. So when you need a little bit of home, it’s waiting for you. If you ever need anything, you know how to reach me. I’ll cook for you anytime you want. I can tell you everything I know. I could probably even try to find some of the other people who used to know you, too. Like, powered people. If you wanted. But if you have to go, let me give you one more hug. It’s–”
There were so many things he wanted to say, so many things he had to bite his tongue for. He didn’t want the Negaverse to get their hands on information they shouldn’t have, and if this was a trap, he was falling right into it.
But she wouldn’t do that to him. She couldn’t.
“I just want you to know that no one could ever replace you. She fills your shoes. She’s nice. She helps out, and knows the right things to say, and she doesn’t judge me. She’s really good at her job. She encouraged me to talk to you. I was afraid, but. I trust her. And I trust you. I just want you to be okay.”

She blinked and nodded, giving a small, almost unsure smile. “...I hope you don’t…I mean…I…yeah. Maybe. I’ll…be in touch, Evan…promise. And soon…”
Lysithea gave him that one last hug, squeezing the boy tightly. She wanted to tell him. Wanted to just unburden herself and tell him that if he were telling the truth…the food had brought her home…or…or back or…
Whatever. But. Instead, all the senshi did was pull away from the hug and climb to her feet, taking the food in reluctant hands. She didn’t want to waste it but…
Couldn’t face the thought of eating it either. “...I’ll let you know if I want to meet any of the others…I’ll be in touch. Promise.”
And then she teleported, excited to just go home and pretend to not exist for a few…well. Maybe forever.
