She led him up the coast and slipped into a tidepool gesturing for him to follow with a delighted smile on her face. "I bet there will be tons of stuff in here." She set their buckets on the edge.

"Good hunting." She wiggled around the perimeter trying to slowly sneak up on the crawly things. They were the hardest to catch and arguably the most deliscious. She was a big fan of crab meat.

"Watch the pinchers." Scouting the tidepool also helped make sure there was nothing super dangerous in there.

Akea 9

"This is so much more fun with company. I have a few friends but I spend an awful lot of time alone and it gets so boring some days with no one to talk to." Some days she didn't mind the quiet.

She harvested some of the sweet seaweed that Kaiko loved so much with his rice. Ikaika preferred more savoury food and protein.

"Nice catch." She said as she heard stuff plunk into his bucket. She had found a few crabs and a lobster that was just too big to handle. She didn't want to risk loosing a finger. Besides it looked like a matriarc or something. Probably best for the lobster population to keep it where it was.

She plunked her catch in her own bucket.

"I was hoping for a rich catch like this."

Akea 10

"That would be cool, I do like to collect rocks and crystals where I can find them, its a bit of a hobby. I like to put them in my parents garden as decor." The garden at home reflected each member of her family in a way. Ikaika was the rich soil, Kaiko the green life and Akea had her gem collection.

She was always happiest when her parent's eels hovered around the garden because she new that no one would be brave enough to attempt to thief her stones.

'Good eating tonight!" Her bucket was full too. "Thank you for joining me."
