At least now she had a week to look into the Sargsyan's. She'd heard enough to know the name, but details? Not so much. Yngvara would have to be crafty about it, though; if anyone caught on to why she was asking then she might very well bring more trouble onto her people than they needed.
Things were just starting to look up for the Ild'vann; she couldn't be the reason they got worse.
"Where will we meet? I suspect you wouldn't want to see me back here unless you wanted to be caught."

(9/10) Where would the meet indeed? Amon was so focused on the question, that he nearly missed the last part of her statement completely. It was enough of a shock that when he realized it, he blanched, shooting her a dark look. Which-- blast, if it was his grandfather in this position, Geir would have looked down his nose and simply said 'Are you trying to suggest something?' and let the person stutter over their words.
But he was versed enough in the game to know that his own startled reaction rather made it difficult to pretend he was still completely in control here.
... What did it matter? He still had the benefit of his name. If she thought to go to his family to rat him out, she may not get the reception she would be hoping for. He could only... hope and pray that she recognized that risk.
... He was still the one with the power here. But for how much longer?
"... That ratty little inn just a few hours south of Zidel. I'll meet you there. And perhaps I will release you in Jauhar, if you're smart enough to keep quiet about this."

In an instant Yngvara had snatched a key bit of information and locked on with a smug grin. So much for either of them appearing 'aloof' and 'in control'. At the end of the day they were both a pair of young teenagers playing an adults game with stacks far beyond the two of them. Yngvara had a grasp of it for now, but who was to say now things would work out next week?
"'The Frayed Knot'? I can do that." How very like him to call that inn 'ratty'. It may not have been as fancy as anything in the inner city, but Yngvara had tasted some of the best stews in their dining hall. "Bit late to be insulting my intelligence don't you think? Or is your tongue normally that loose?"
Looking past him, Yngvara motioned toward the door. "Well? Go on and open it then so I can leave."

Why the cocky little-- Amon sucked in a hissed breath, amber eyes glittering furiously as he turned away from her cheshire smile. "You should feel lucky. My grandfather would have locked you away for years, and hunted your creature down to collect its hide." Ugh... how unfitting of such a pretty girl to gloat.
Amon swept his fur-lined cloak closer around him as he moved to the door and tugged it open, feeling a sweeping feeling of concern when he realized, the entire time, there'd been no guard waiting outside. She could have tried to attack him, and no one would have--
He'd been sloppy, all around, but he had to remind himself that it would be WORTH it for the prize.

She almost wanted to nettle him more, but Yngvara resisted. Anymore teasing and he might very well decide she was more trouble than she was worth. "If your grandfather touches my head then my grandfather will make boots with your hide."
Yngvara walked past him and paused just long enough to really get a good look at his face. And also to make sure he had a good look at hers.
"Sov godt, søppel." With one final snarl and a few words tossed under her breath, Yngvara tugged her cape up around her shoulders and left.
