He grinned at the turn in attitude from his mother. He knew she had to be stern to get her way then soft when she dealt with him and his siblings any other time. He chuckled a bit when she mentioned adding color to his eyes. "Oh, when I go out I do. This is more of a 'sitting at home' look." He lifted the fan into the air and made a vague motion toward his face.
"You should see the colors I have now." He was rather pleased with his collection of cosmetics.

"Oh, well the sitting at home thing looks nice." Kalli didn't have one of those. She had a performance look and an everyday look. And she thought that was fancy.
The mention of her son's collection only made her chuckle. "I bet you have more than me now. You know I only keep a few on hand." Kalli stayed to golds and reds mostly. They worked better with her skin and hair. But she did have a yellow thrown in for when she really wanted her eyes to stand out.

"Oh yes. I have so many colors." He bragged. Of course he had his grandparents to thank for that. They'd seen fit to spend the money on him even though he hadn't done anything to earn it. "If Korin wants some then let me know and I can get her some." He wasn't sure if his younger sister would want some or not. One never knew when they might need to doll up.

She tilted her head as she thought about that. While she didn't think her daughter would be interested in all the bright colors she did know her youngest son would be. So she smiled. "Mm, Sekani might be more interested in the kind of colors you have available." She knew Visha wouldn't judge his little brother so she felt confident in telling him that Sekani had taken an interest in cosmetics.

Upon hearing that his little brother had taken up cosmetics his eyes grew wide. "Really?" Curiosity filled his tone. "Oh, do tell! What colors is he interested in!? I'll get him some!" Visha was instantly asking all the questions he could think of so that he could send his little brother a nice gift home.
