"See? I knew we would get along." Xipili took a drink and leaned forward a bit, laying his decorative hand atop his knee. "If that's how you see it then create something for me; a test to see if my investments will be made in earnest. My eighteenth birthday is in one month and I plan to make it the biggest gala Oba has ever seen. Of course, that means I need to make a statement."
He raised his brow, clearly offering her the challenge of a lifetime. How was one supposed to stand out in Sulburi of all things, with the nobility just doors away? She had vision and he had spark, but Xipili wasn't one to run on passion alone. He needed to know for sure that this was going to work.
"Make me the talk of the capital and I'll see to it that you never want for anything. Make me the laughing stock, however and you won't so much as shine shoes."

A thrill of excitement thrummed to life within Harika making her blood burn in her veins. "I'll accept your challenge." She replied with a grin as she studied Xipili. "I'll have to meet with you every week just to make certain everything is on track." She nodded as she raised a hand and traced his outline from afar. "If you want a statement then I will make a statement. Feel free to give me five words for what you would like to see and I will make it happen." Her gaze was bright as she spoke, her excitement barely contained as she kept her posture.
"As long as you're willing to support me in its creation then I will definitely test my limits to make you a shining beacon at this gala." No one would be able to look away if Harika had her way with him. It didn't always have to be extravagant, her designs could be subtle but she knew something had to stand out. There had to be a factor which people would gush about for days afterwards. She was truly excited to start planning! As they liked to say in Oba, truly On'os was on her side tonight.

Xipili's face split into a bright smile. "Excellent! I look forward to seeing what your mind creates." What sort of vision would she see with him in mind? The thought of adding wind to his fire was admittedly a little...worrisome, but maybe it was time that Xipili embraced all of him now that he was becoming a man. That would certainly make a statement.
"Of course. We'll set the time before you leave this evening and I'll have a room set apart for us." While she would likely prefer to do most of her work in her own space there would be certain things she couldn't do, not without him there at least, so it would be best to give her the tools she needed.
"Five words? Hmm. Bold. Mesmerizing. Deceptive. Innovative. Soft." While the first four were lofty and reaching the last was meant to throw her off. It would be interesting to see what she could make it of.
"My assets are yours to use as you see fit. Please, feel free to purchase whatever you need to make me the star I am."

"And I look forward to working with you." Replied Harika with a bright smile in return. If anything Xipili would definitely prove to be an inspiration and she truly hoped that she could create something that would impress him. Already she had a faint idea but she would wait to fiddle with ideas when she returned to her room tonight.
"Noted." Harika repeated the words silently in her head as she thought about inspiration. It seemed like tonight's gamble had been worth it indeed. Her expression only brightened more at the promise of funding and the girl nodded. "I'll make certain to do that." She finished her drink and sat the glass down. "Thank you for putting your faith in me. I won't let you down!"

"I'm counting on it," Xipili smiled. When he'd finished his drink the affluent hybrid took a deep breath and looked around the room. There were so many other faces he needed to speak with though they were surely far less interesting than the girl infront of him. "Please, enjoy yourself this evening and make full use of the room. You'll find far more contacts here than just me. To that end I really must be going, but I hope to hear from you soon."
As gracefully as one who had worn heels for the majority of his life, Xipili rose from the seats and bowed his head respectfully to Rika before moving on.
