Alinta nodded her head in appreciation as she took the apple from the teen. "I suppose it does go with my eyes. Thank you." She smiled towards the youngling and tucked the apple in her basket. When she thought the whole situation was over the other girl was suddenly clinging to the teen's head and blinding him. "Oh! Alinta let out a gasp before taking a step to the side to avoid any potential falling bodies. "That's so dangerous." She protested softly with a frown though it did seem like it worked to get some of the better fruits....the youngling eyed the other teen thoughtfully before quickly looking away with a flush.

Oly winced slightly, stepping a little closer again to make absolutely certain the tower didn't topple over. "Zota.." he warned with a shake of his head. No point in overkilling the warnings. He glanced over at the strange girl and grinned. Now that the tension had cooled down.. "By the way, I'm Oly, that's Ari, and up there is Zota. Do you wanna keep picking with us?"

Zota yelped when Omari faltered, gripping a little tighter instinctively. "Sorry!" she peeped out, adjusting her grip so that she was uncovering her ladder's eyes. She combed the fingers of one hand onto Omari's hair for stability while the other relaxed and shifted the basket. "Is that better?"
Hearing her cousin's offer, she looked over to the stranger and grinned. "You're welcome to come along! I can reach the high ones for you." Her grin shifted into a sage tone. "But I get first pick since I'm up here. Oooor, you can ride on Oly's shoulders and take the other side!"

"Yes." Managed Omari after taking a deep breath to calm himself. He was okay and more importantly Zota was still in place and safe. "That is totally up to Oly." Omari found himself adding with a playful grin towards his brother. He wasn't certain if his twin would agree to carry around the other youngling but he was curious to see how that would play out if he did.
"Oh! That's a good one right there." Omari saw himself noticing another apple and he walked Zota over towards it. "I get dibs on just snacking on that one." He playfully stated as he stayed still so that his niece could pick the fruit.

"Nice to meet you all." Replied Alinta with a small nod of her head in greeting. "I'm Alinta." She supposed it was acceptable to share first names and that eased any pressure over acting properly under her family's name. The youngling chewed her bottom lip almost hesitantly before glancing around the group. "It would be nice to have help if that is acceptable." As long as there weren't some other strange magic words she had to use! Though now that she thought about it the girl's cheeks darkened at the reminder of please. How could she overthink such a simple request? Alinta shook her head before glancing towards Oly. "If you felt comfortable with the idea then I wouldn't protest...but I'm fine on the ground as well!" She added quickly as she strode towards another tree to pick up a low hanging fruit for her basket. Alinta was not one to beg for help! If he wanted to try something that silly then...well then maybe she would accept the challenge, but she was not going to plead for the chance to ride about like Zota.

Being offered as a ride brought out a loud snort. "Yeah, don't go acting like I'm your mule," he huffed, though his lips were curving in a smirk. He was actually surprised to hear Alinta wasn't opposed to the idea though. "Oh, well, I don't mind helping you if there's something neither of us can reach." He walked a little closer and lowered his voice slightly. "Then you can get some of the nicer produce without worrying about it going through Zota's fingers first." Maybe he wouldn't just carry her everywhere, but he couldn't turn away when someone was asking for assistance either.

"Oooh, that's a nice one." Zota was content enough to pluck the apple and hand it down to Omari. It was a nice looking apple, but not quite nice enough for her special basket. Her eyes slipped over to the other pair and nodded excitedly. "We'll get all the best apples with them holding us up." Of course, there was a reason she had called for Omari instead of Olokun. Having the taller uncle meant she got the best view and reach!
"Go over just a little. I want that one," she nudged her uncle, reaching for a fruit just a couple inches out of reach.

Omari 6
"I see you are getting caught up as a volunteer ladder." Teased Omari as he winked towards his sibling. Who knew that they would be doing this today? It was amusing though to see how many apples he could help Zota pick. He just hoped his brother could tolerate the other youngling and that no one got hurt while they were carrying the girls. "Fine, fine. You should learn the magic word again as well." He playfully quipped before going over to where Zota directed him. At least he had gotten a good apple out of this deal! He just hoped some really delicious pies were in the near future too~

Alinta nodded. "I won't but I could definitely share some of the good finds with you." She promised the other teen as she slowly approached him. It did seem like all of the good apples were higher up, something she watched with envy as she saw the other pair already plucking some nice fruit. "If you don't mind helping me then I suppose it would only be fair if we matched them, right? If you please?" She managed the magic word as she looked towards Oly and waited for him to help her up. Once she got on his shoulders then Zota and Omari would have to watch out for them because Alinta was determined to get all of the best apples too!

Oly glanced over to his twin and shrugged with an amused 'what else can I do?' look on his face. The average teen might balk at the idea of being living ladders for little girls, but these two were clearly different. Besides.. Oly didn't want to get home only for it to slip out that he refused helping someone out! What would his mother say? Yep, he had definitely been trained to help out when asked.
Ah! A 'please' right off the bat! That was encouraging. "Alright, we'll get the other side of the aisle." He wasn't as strong as Omari, but Alinta was thankfully light. His focus went to keeping his new charge balanced and in place, basket hanging forgotten on his arm. The only thing he feared more than not helping was having his help go wrong!

Zota blew a raspberry, but made a point of thanking her uncle for moving for her. She took pride in being polite, but it was also just so easy to be sassy at times; especially with family. How horrible it would be to be told she was rude! "Maybe I'll make sure you and Uncle Oly get some bigger slices since you're being so helpful," she cooed, petting his hair affectionately.

"I'll take it." Omari laughed at Zota's antics before watching the other pair starting off. "So you think this is a challenge?" He teased as he started to take Zota around the rest of their half of the orchard. They would see who came out with the better haul in the end! Obviously it'll be us. Omari grinned at the thought as more apples caught his attention. If anything he would most definitely consider today a successful outing.

Oh this was nerve-wracking! She definitely could not let her family know about riding around on some stranger's shoulders. Admittedly though Alinta was smiling as she worked to pluck apples from the trees. "Thank you again." She managed as she went to the other side of the orchard with the teen, her gaze already looking through for the best apples. If they thought it was a game then surely they would win this! Alinta was determined!
