Sylvite's eyebrows scrunched together until her nose wrinkled. "Yeah, that sounds bad," she said.

Although, breaking bones was a totally different thing than energy draining. If there had been some kind of big fight, there had been some kind of big fight, and people got hurt all the time in fights. Sylvite had seen people come out of battles with way worse injuries than just a broken leg or something.

The way that he was describing that particular battle did make it sound like it hadn't been great.

That was why Sylvite tried to be a lot more subtle about where she got her energy from. Then, they didn't have to worry about fights in the first place. Nobody had to get hurt.

She didn't think he would listen to her if she tried to explain that, though, so she kept her mouth shut. She turned around, instead. She really was about to leave.

Talking hadn't actually made the weird feeling in her head go away any.

She turned back when he asked, though.

"Yeah?" she said. "What's your question?"

Oh. Forced recruitment. The other thing that had kinda been making her head swim, every since everything had gone wrong with Cybele.

Sylvite puffed out her cheeks and then blew out the air all at once. "I mean, it's that or kill them sometimes, right? Like, if people are dangerous?" In other cases, too, she was starting to learn. The Queen didn't approve of any Order running around, and Sylvite did understand that part of it. A low level threat could easily turn into a high level one.

"And yeah, there's a price with the memories and stuff, but sometimes it still seems worth trying to give them another chance in the Negaverse, even if they don't see it like that? I mean, in theory."

Sylvite shook her head.

"It doesn't work."

Sylvite had seen all the flaws in it, firsthand. She didn't feel like letting this senshi pick at any more flaws in the Negaverse's logic, though.

She'd said she was leaving, so she left, only this time, instead of just turning away, she vanished and reappeared a couple of streets over.
