"After traveling across a desert, it's absolutely perfect." She replied simply, before considering the question she asked.
Snack foods were nice, but she wanted to make sure they were eating healthy. The next leg of their trip was the longest, and they might not get as much. But either way...
"I'd like to keep it healthy, but our big thing on this trip is trying things local. Dishes that can't be found anywhere else. Adds to the whole experience..."

She could understand that one. Subira had made the trek home across the desert herself. Of course she'd taken the long way as she'd been too much of a coward to face her family. "Glad our hospitality is still good."
The talk of local dishes made her rock back on her heels for a second. "Well.. there is Omala's food stand. She makes all local dishes. They are full meals as well. Main dish and sides." She made more than one local dish too.

She took a mental note of the recommendation, and wondered if she had seen it yet. So far, they hadn't really gone to any stands, mostly joining the group to get the group hunt. Maybe a stand was exactly what they needed to do.
"I'll have to pass it along to my daughter. Thank you for the recommendation. It'll be nice to have something truly authentic to wrap up this whole...adventure."
She smiled again, warm and friendly.

"Omala also makes the best sun baked bread. If you get fresh with the spiced spread its really good." Subira was addicted to the bread.
"If your daughter likes sweets then she can also go to Kresia's sweet shop. She makes taffy." She might as well provide a variety for the two to choose from.

Now she had a list to go by, and Zayana was very thankful for the friendly greeting and helpful tips.
"Thank you, Subria." She said with a nod, "I'm going to make sure we stop by all of those places and let them know you recommended them."
For now, she felt reassured and relaxed, happy to have stumbled upon the Alkidike before her.
"I better get going and checking on my daughter. But if I see you around, we'll have to go try those foods together. It was so nice to meet you, and I hope to see you again before we leave."
