Viatrix went right to work the moment she was passed off the pen, giggling as she started to work on getting it upgraded properly. "Yeah, pretty much. At least your uniform doesn't glow too, right?" That was Encke's problem; he had a bunch of uniform accents that also glowed. It kind of made him hard to miss even if he did want to hide... Not that having glowing skin only made hiding much easier. As she looked down at the pen and grinned as she found she was right, she pondered her response to his next question. "I think so! Encke -- oh, he's my bonded senshi, also a transcendent -- calls it like your homeworld's or wonder's reward for helping it out. I don't think anyone's exactly sure what triggers it but that seems to be the thing. Focus on your homeworld, help it out, and it'll reward you. It'll be happy you helped it. Proud you helped it. Some variety of that." Merrily, she held out the pen toward Athalia. "Encke transcended when he restored the electrical power to his whole comet. Think he said something about needing to use himself as an electrical conduit of some variety... Oh! If you just say Athalia Eternal, Make-up, this should level you up!" She paused. She considered. "Or I guess you can just focus on it," she finished.

"If I end up with glowing accents anywhere, I'm not going to live it down," Athalia admitted. There were too many people in his life that would tease him, it certainly might look impressive, but he didn't exactly like to stick out like a sore thumb. Alas, it was a little too late for that according to the enthusiastic Mauvian and as she handed back his pen he gave her a small scratch behind the ear and peered at her handiwork.
...Well it certainly had a tiny bit more flare to it.
"All right, let's have a look then," he mused softly as he pulled himself up and flicked his pen in his hand a few times, almost thoughtfully, before repeating the fabled phrase. He roughly knew how this went, he'd been through it once before, but as the new power rippled through him he felt something inside stir...former powers shifting to become something all together different. Or perhaps, more accurately, he could sense that something he had wanted to do for so long, was no longer implausible.
As the magic came to settle upon him, his uniform now changed, he took a small moment to survey what he had become and -
"So your beloved companion gets glowing accents and I lose several layers," he observed with a hint of amusement. "Not ideal in the dead of winter but I suppose it would be more accurate to the species' preferences," he held a leg out, peering down at his toes.
"Appreciate the upgraded sandals though, much more stable," he added before eyeing Viatrix again. "So this is it, my 'final' form as some might say," he remarked.

"Little late for that," was her tease of a response, though maybe he'd be lucky and not end up with glowing accents on his uniform, too. At least the glowing in general Viatrix happily accepted the rewarding scratches, but finally, let Athalia actually pull away so he could look at the newly upgraded pen and hopefully see what it would do. She was too eager to settle into a loaf, especially considering she had never done an upgrade like this before, but she did sit back and watch him with wide eyes as he repeated what she told him to. And just like that, he was in front of her with ... considerably fewer layers, but also as an Eternal, which was the most important part of it to her. She might have taken a moment to trot around him to take it in, looking at the little wings that designated him as being eternal, checking out the little changes that had been made to his uniform compared to what she remembered of it, and listening to him as she eventually circled back around. "Upgraded sandals, less layers," she giggled, "looks like your species might have been on a hot planet, mm?" Though, to be honest, she wasn't sure if Encke's uniform entirely represented how the people of Encke tended to dress... It was cool to see Athalia's did, though! "Yeah! This is the final form of most senshi, I think. I know that some senshi have forms where they can tap into more crystal power, but..." But that wasn't true of most of them, and she was fairly sure Encke had only ever mentioned two royals... "You should have a new type of magic now, and you should feel stronger, and also the transcendence should give you a bonus of some sort, too." Viatrix tapped her chin with a paw. "Like Encke can transfer energy, his friend Pendour has more magic, you should have something like that."

"If the planet is currently at the temperature it was back then, then yes it is rather hot," he confirmed with a small smile. The weather system had settled as he had visited more and more often, but if it was completely finished with whatever it was doing then yes, it might cook some of his fellow Brits should they ever have the capacity to visit!
"Perhaps you would care to visit some time and you can investigate and explore to your hearts content," he lifted a hand to rake his fingers through his hair, hair that had gotten much longer over the months than he had necessarily been accustomed to years ago. "Now that the trees aren't disintegrating I imagine the jungles will look relatively impressive now," he mused.
"For all I know there are more contraptions on that planet I haven't found yet and the last one I found needed someone far more talented than me to get it working again," he sighed.
Returning to the matter at hand though...
"Given my past self seemed to acquire any additional 'strength' from his species's Hive, I don't imagine tapping in to any Crystals is on the cards," he admitted with a wry smile. "Intriguing as that prospect may be, if it involves me almost joining said ancestors, I may have to give it a pass," he confessed and shook his head.
"When I am less tired though I will be sure to investigate what else you've unleashed with that tinkering you did to my pen," he confirmed. "You have my thanks, an unexpected gift to be sure."

Jungles. Viatrix's eyes lit up at the thought, not at the least because the first thing she pictured were plenty of trees to climb. It also meant that Athalia's world was alive, even if it was hot -- Encke's world tended to be rather on the cool side, so she'd have to keep that in mind when she went, though Anser's was a bit on the warmer side -- and the idea of visiting another living planet and seeing how it was coming along was something that made her bounce a bit on her paws. "I'd love to see your planet! And maybe you just need a Mauvian's touch on some of those contraptions, right?" She winked. "We got that technological smarts for y'all." She giggled quietly at the concept of Athalia joining up with his ancestors. Honestly, she could understand why he didn't seem terribly inclined to the idea if that was the case... Though she was very curious about the concept of a species that drew strength from a hive. Sounded like a hivemind of sorts, and those sorts of things always intrigued her-- Viatrix bumped him with her head. "I'm happy I could help! Your starseed was ready for the power, so you clearly deserve it! You'll be able to defend yourself and others better with that power, and I'm excited to see what you do with it." Viatrix was always excited to see where the people she upgraded went.

"I imagine that I will continue to make an absolute nuisance of myself," Athalia confirmed with a small smirk. It had always been his purpose, to prowl the streets and intervene at every opportunity so that none of those in the Negaverse (and even the Dark Mirror), could succeed with their endeavours. He wasn't always successful, but he had at least found himself in a position to help more than enough people and that was something he very much intended to continue doing.
...This sudden boost in power simply gave him the chance to cover more distance and hit even harder. If the Negaverse, particularly those he regularly ran in to, didn't already find his convenient arrivals very welcome, then imagine how they would feel now. They still hadn't worked out how he kept finding them either, in parts that he wasn't known to prowl, in areas they deliberately avoided for long periods to avoid catching his attention through trends.
Benefits to having a Mauvian.
Imagine what he could do with a small army of them, eh?
"Nevertheless, once I've got myself cleaned up and caught up you can consider this a formal invitation to come with me to see my home," he said after a moment. "I will need to make sure that the unwelcome visitor stays dead, and at least this way having a second set of eyes will help reassure me I'm not hallucinating," he chuckled softly and held out his phone.
"If you would do the honours of course and ensure the contact details of your tinkering paws are lodged in this, eh?"

"Excellent!" Being an absolute nuisance for the Negaverse was an absolutely admirable go, and Viatrix was quite happy she had been able to help him become even more of a pain in their collective asses. She wanted to see it. She wanted to cheer it on. And now he could be an even bigger nuisance than he had been before... "Oh, absolutely!!" An invite to a planet that Encke hadn't gotten first. She was so gonna brag about this later. She could make connections too, dammit. Eagerly, she took the cell phone from him, working on getting her contact information into it so he could contact her when he was ready to accept more people on his planet. Made sense that he wanted to get cleaned up and caught up with everything that happened first... Did he live with some other people? Were they the ones he needed to get caught up with? Viatrix thought she had done a pretty good job of catch up but it seemed there was more to do-- "Here you go!" The phone was thrust back toward him. "I can't wait to see your planet! I hope I can confirm for you that those things you see are definitely the things you're seeing. And sleep will help with that anyway, sounds like you've had a long couple weeks." She tilted her head. "Hopefully you have a good nice long rest to match up with that!"

"Once a handful of them are done yelling at me I imagine I'll be allowed to sleep," he chuckled and slipped his phone into the depths of subspace. Given he lacked pockets at the moment he was going to have to work out a safe place to store it when it wasn't in subspace. Perhaps this was what the women in his life meant when they complained about the lack of pockets on their clothes, and became even more exasperated by the fake ones.
"Genuinely, when I'm ready to check that Athalia is feeling better, I'll reach out to you," he offered a warm smile and gave her one final scratch behind the ear before he straightened. "However in the meantime please be careful," he added and glanced behind her.
...Though he couldn't sense anyone, he knew there were a few little trinkets that could allow for stealth.
"I appreciate you are probably more than capable of looking after yourself, but the point still stands," he murmured. He tended to ignore that particular point given his penchant for being a bit of a lone wolf, but when it came to others he thoroughly believed there was safety in numbers. When it came to the Mauvians he was particularly protective, if only because they had very little to protect them...At least a Page could punch and if trained well, hit reasonably hard.
He'd said his piece though and it wasn't long before he had picked up his duffle bag to sling it over his shoulder again. Once he had found a safe spot he would power down, but for now it was in his best interests to walk away as nonchalantly as possible until he was out of sight, and out of mind.
He gave a final wave, and with that, began to move away from Viatrix. He'd eventually disappear from view, but no doubt she would hear from him in due course as he wasn't one to go back on his word.

"Don't worry, I can handle myself!" though she definitely appreciated his concern either way. It was always nice when her senshi worried about her mutually, even though she was absolutely certain that in battle, she could function just fine. She trained by running on treadmills! Her claws were nice and sharp (even if Luke didn't necessarily appreciate them when she started to knead). Her forehead beam was extra effective. "But I promise, I'll keep safe. I wanna see your homeworld, after all!" (It was not extra effective, she just liked to think of it that way.) Viatrix lifted a paw in a wave as he gathered up his duffel bag, watching him as he left to make sure he was getting himself back okay. When he was far enough, she happily turned on her tail and went on to resume her small little patrol. But she had accomplished her mission today -- helping any senshi she came across.
