The December air wasn't enough to stop whatever sauna-magic had gotten into her, but his skin felt cool. It felt nice. She curled up against him, tucking her knees into his lap, and hoping that the warmth coming off of her would keep him from totally turning into an icicle or something.
That was something that went beyond normal weird Destiny City magic, and they'd probably need backup for that.
"Amazonite for if you freeze," she agreed. "Faustite if I end up literally bursting into flames or something, but like-"
She didn't want it to come to that. She was still hot, and still blushy, but the nerves had gone from borderline panic to being just a little bit of a buzz under her skin, a buzz that got stronger where she brushed up against Waru. The moment was nice. She didn't think she wanted anyone else to interrupt it.
"It looks like right now, you're enough," she whispered.
Then, because he'd said he'd be okay with more, she leaned up and brushed her lips against his.
