The air was filled with the smell of death and gun smoke, while bodies laid were they carelessly fell. Someone in this village was having a good time, even if it was not the denizen of Hidden Katana. It was odd that for a group that was dedicated to making weapons that their were few that seemed to have the ability to fight back. One a girl seemingly lost in her rage to notice the enemy forces closing in. Two a young male in the air, a clawed, metal gauntlet holding his chest likely coving or putting pressure on a wound. Three another young lady that just had two of these black armored shinobi standing idly by as she was tearing down one of their weapons. ‘Interesting.’ Was the only thought that came to Alexia’s mind, though that two passed as she came upon a small pile of bodies. ‘Let’s see how well they hold up when the fallen start to rise again.’ Something about this environment excited the Wesker woman, as she took out a few vitals from her coat and loaded them into a syringe gun. The air powered equipment was rather silent, giving Alexia time to load dose after dose of a virus into the corpses of Katana citizens, and even the armored shinobi’s fallen allies. Dusting her hands she looks around before finally speaking up, “So who is in charge of this little operation?” Those dual colored eyes glancing from one shinobi to the next, and over both defenders and the invading force. It was easy to tell who was who, when one side is practically in uniform. Her right hand coming to rest on the taped grip of her rather small firearm she has holstered at the small of her back. While her left arm reached into a hip pouch to produce her A1 - Grenade Launcher attachment. “If I don’t get some answers I might just have to shoot everyone and call this rescue mission a wash.”

Sasaki's sword was fast despite it's size, something that not even this black armor clad shinobi was able to fully take into account as the weapon slashed into his back two times before he could even turn his head to react. Stumbling forwards and onto the ground he would collapse on the spot, still breathing yet visibly motionless from the sudden damage that they had sustained. The only marks that he was still alive were the almost inaudible groans of pain as blood pooled around him. There were always more black armored shinobi though, and the next one in the area would immediately take notice of their allies collapsing to the ground and let out an angered scream as they flung their rifle around and took fire in Sasaki's direction. Other black armor clad shinobi popping their heads up from roof tops and alley ways due to the scream, although not readying their rifles upon her just yet. With the yell, the fallen shinobi also jumped back into a more conscious state as he rips a round object from his belt and lets it drop to roll in Sasaki's direction, before the object exploded in a wave of flame and shrapnel.
The shot was a perfect hit, the black armored grunt watching the target of his gunfire fall from the air and hit the ground. As the dirt and dust subsided, he was surprised to not see a body upon the ground, but the whisking wind of the target shooting back up into the air once again. As soon as he was moving to aim his rifle at the target who was in the air once again, a wave of white feathers filled the area around him and successfully blocked his vision of his target for a split second. That second being long enough for him to immediately be slashed in the back by the opponent's surprise attack as well as the follow up strike that hit him int he side of the neck. As his body staggered forwards, he soon spun around and swung the but of his rifle in an attempt to hit the opponent that had just struck him, only to find that there was no one standing upon the ground behind him, just the aftermath of the flurry of white feathers.
The new black armored shinobi that Raelyn had begun to fight would immediately notice the shadow like crows that formed around him, both completely distracting and preventing his ability to continue the fight any further. Thanks to the yelling that could be heard by other black armor clad shinobi in the area nearby, the remaining black armor clad shinobi did not take notice of Raelyn's second successful genjutsu technique usage. Instead focusing on a wildly swinging female with a giant blade that was a distance away.
The main leader of the black armored shinobi had been wandering around aimlessly. There had not been a target that he was even interested in, and the useless scum of civilian life was enough to bore him to tears. Of course he would not have to wait for long, as a figure stepped out into the streets and began asking aloud about who was in charge of the invading force that was attacking Hidden Katana at this very moment. He really did not need to give her an answer, but perhaps she would be a little more interesting than the rest of the rabble. Dropping to one knee, he lifted the sword he held in his hands as it's form shifted and elongated into that of a sniper rifle like firearm. The hilt actually dislodging and flipping upwards to become the scope itself as the weapon's blade opened by it's central point and a long barrel emerged from within in. He placed his finger upon the trigger that had revealed itself, locked in his sights upon Alexia and pulled the trigger. An explosion of chakra and a thin bolt of metal would shoot directly for Alexia's form with an explosive sound that would immediately reveal his location a good distance down the stretch of the street.
Sasaki: New Guy: Action Used: Give 'Em Hell! ( 400 Chakra ) Gunshot: Attack Speed 20 Gunshot: Attack Damage 20 Applies Bleed for 3 turns: 10 damage before defense. Chakra: 16,000 / 15600
There was a shot that rang out across the village, and the sniper leader of the assault team was now in a known location. As for the slug that was spit from the rail like rifle, it hit its mark true, and blood splattered across the ground as it went through one side of the Wesker woman's head and out the other. Yet, her body only flinched slightly as she moved to attach the grenade launcher to the underside of the machine pistol. "Mhmm... There you are... but do you know how much an annoyance that was?" She doubted he could hear her, but the thought crossed her lips as most snipers would be trained to read lips. Her hand went to her vest pulling out two syringes, one with a purple liquid. She takes a deep breath and injects the first into her arm, before taking the syringe with the purple formula into her neck. The gaping hole in her head began to heal almost instantly, after the second injection. Her hetero-chromatic eyes looking up towards the sniping commander of the army. She moved fast, much faster than before as her hands grabbed a grenade and loaded it into her A1 - Grenade Launcher. Her arm extends as she works to arc her shot, before pulling the trigger. 'See how that feels..' She mentally taunted as she watched her shot ring true, as the grenade landed within range of the rifle armed shinobi before it went off with an equally loud explosion to rock the village. LIke a true 'hero' that she was, Alexia even turned her back before the explosion.

After the shot that he had fired, he did not have much choice other than to simply stand still as he slowly rose back to his feet and began to prepare for the next wave of attack that he would produce. Of course the shot that he had fired appeared to hit it's mark, he watched as the female he had shot slowly turned to face him and aim a gun of her own in his direction. With the pop of the weapon being fired, and the sound of something sailing through the air, he watched as a grenade was launched directly at him from the gun she held and struck directly in front of him to cause the immediate explosion that was expected of such an explosive projectile. As the smoke settled, a hexagonal screen like orb flickered immediately around his body, the force field itself clearly damaged as sparks of energy flickered off it's surface before it fizzles out entirely. Although clearly injured, the leader of this assault flicked his wrist causing his weapon to form back into it's sword form and then returned it to it's sheath.
There had been a lot of chaos going on throughout the village of Hidden Katana. The onslaught of black armored shinobi fighting against both shinobi of the village and visitor alike left the majority of the village in sheer turmoil, causing smoke to raise from the village itself and cover the area in thick black smoke due to the fires and dust that lined the streets. With a slow shake of his head, the intricate weapon wielding male that had been leading the black armored shinobi took one final look around before raising his right arm up, hand folded in a fist and then opening to reveal an open palm. The attacking black armor clad shinobi stopping in their disastrous actions, even missing the shots the had been planning to fire upon civilian and defender alike. "Time to move out, Mission Accomplished!" He yells out, his voice projecting as if it was coming from every other black armor clad shinobi in the area around them. His drone immediately flying back from where it had been off causing destruction and reattaching itself onto his back. He then lowered his hand and placed it upon something on his left wrist, as the black armor clad shinobi around him all did the same. With a soft beep and a whirring sound, a tear in the fabric of space would form around behind him and slowly move forwards. His body vanishing into the black depths within, to which only the slow moving red clouds could be seen as they passed across the empty expanse. Each and every living black armor clad shinobi would vanish in much the same way, as those that had died or been unable to leave would beep one additional time before exploding in one final damaging effect to the village itself.

Sasaki stood in the aftermath of the attack on her home. Sure, it could have been worse, but the biggest question that plagued her mind was why hadn't it been worse? If this was truly the work of the Hidden Leaf Village, then surely Katana should have been crushed. Also, if this was the Leaf's work, where was the might of the Uchiha or the fearsome power of the Byakugan? It was clear she had more questions than answers at this time, but now it was time to investigate the powerful allies who had come to defend her home despite their strange appearances.
Sasaki made her way over to Raelyn before reaching out a hand in greeting to the fellow kenjutsu user. "Thanks for the help, but I suppose we owe a lot of thanks to the weird chick with the red hair, yeah?", Sasaki said with a wide grin to the kunoichi. "Sasaki of the Hidden Katana. I wish there was more happy reason to socialize and relax, but more pertinently, are you injured?", she asked of the stranger. She was doing her best to be hospitable and friendly to one who had risked their life for her home. Though, her hospitality was not just out of obligation to the ones who had fought, but curiosity had gotten the better of her. It was the first time she had gotten to interact with outsiders of the Village itself, so it was an opportunity she planned not to let go to waste.
Already hyped up on adrenalin and stress from the sheer loss of innocent lives, Raelyn was thrown over when the two members of the invading army that were under her genjutsu just up and exploded once their commander had left with all those able. Her eyes now the bright red of the Uchiha's Sharigan, though with only the single tomoe appearing in her eye. Her hands blackened from the destruction of the weapon she had been taking apart. Though she had watched two students die at the academy, this massacre was on a vastly different scale, and purpose. Her mind raced as she got madder and madder... though not at any one thing. The whole series of things that had transpired only made her madder that she seemed so powerless to stop them from dealing so much damage to the villagers. She did not even originally notice the approach of the lovely, swordswoman from the village as she had approached her. That was till she spoke and snapped the young of heir of the Sanada name back to reality also causing her eyes to shift from the Sharingan to her normal lavender-colored hues.
Eyes quickly drawn to Sasaki's form and the offered hand. It was not a form of greeting that Raelyn knew well, but she reached out and took the girl's hand in her own, "I am from Hidden Craftsman... when they heard of the attack... I could not just stay back and do nothing. But yes... that red headed lady kind of pulled our butts form the fire there." The Uchiha woman had thought she saw that woman taking a shot to the head, but oddly she still moved and managed to make another took a shot back. A gentle shake of her head cleared those thoughts from her head. "Haha... Sorry. I am Sanada Raelyn of Hidden Craftsman. I am just glad I could help in some small way, or another. Shame that their weapons went the same way that they did, cause I feel I could have learned a lot about them through that." It was not Raelyn's first time meeting with those outside of her home village, afterall she had graduated from the academy, and made two friends. One from Hidden Sand, and the other being Tai, whom seemed to stay back in Hidden Craftsman to eat and relax. The young Sanada hoped that her friend did not purchase something from one of the other blacksmiths, as she wished to gift her something that was created by her. "Um... Injuried? Oh no... I am actually in really good condition, worst I got was that weapon exploded on me while I was inspecting it. Thank you."
The white haired Katanagakure kunoichi looked at Raelyn curiously. They had introduced themselves as a member of a family she had never heard of, and of a Village that was competitor in the region. Still, Sasaki was never one to look a gift horse in the mouth. She smiled all the same, trying to pretend she had not seen Raelyn's newly developed doujutsu so as to protect her modesty. Besides, she was also certain that if she had heard the suicidal attacker claim they were of Leaf, others had too, and she did not want to throw an Uchiha under the bus. No, probably better to make friends in this case. As it stood, there seemed to be plenty of enemies out in the world that far outclassed even herself.
"So, what's with the travel to Hidden Katana? I mean we have the best in sword craftsmanship, hands down, but Hidden Craftsman has some models that might rival even my creations, no?", Sasaki questioned with a bemused chuckle at the end. She was doing her best to show curiosity in a potential rival craftsman while not being rude. Still, her question was valid. Most would think that the ninja of the Hidden Craftsman Village would see their works as superior. However, Raelyn had Sharingan eyes, and that was enough of an oddity to dismiss the usual preconception on the average member of the other minor Village in the Land of Iron.
The Hidden Katana was an interesting village to be sure, home to the greatest swordsmiths anywhere. Even Alyxandr could admit that there were none their equal among the craftsmen of the Federation. Even looking upon this ruined village, smoke and rubble, dust and shattered stone, he felt a sense of excitement. This place was a monument to war, to death, perhaps more so than his own home.
This place produced tools of death and the murderers to wield them.
Alyx walked into the village as if he owned it, stepping over a corpse here, a moaning (but still alive) shinobi there, not even bothering to look down in pity. Death was all around. It was inevitable. These people would die now, or they would die later. In any case, death would come for them, either at the end of a blade, or at slow grasping hands of time. The nature of their demise was of no matter to Alyx. They were insignificant.
Alyx passed a pair of shinobi, overhearing some of their conversation. Silly children with silly problems, who had failed to protect what was theirs. He did not bother to even try to stifle the sadistic snicker as he passed them, without a glance, on his way to see if the blacksmiths were still operating.
Raelyn's head would tilt slightly as the other swordswoman asked why she came, before carrying on bout her views of the differences between the two villages. "As I said prior... I came because there was an announcement about an invasion in the Land of Iron." A smirk crossed her face as her left forearm rested on hilt of the katana on his hip, "...But I will agree. In terms of variety, Hidden Katana is vastly superior to my home village. Luckily for me... I was born into a family of smiths, with my grandmother coming from this very village." Her smile faded as the air grew stale when this new mysterious ninja stalked through the streets nearest the pair. 'That guy is giving off a seriously bad vibe...' The young Sanada's attention returns to Sasaki as she takes that offered hand, even giving it a soft squeeze, as she smiled, "I believe that we make a better team together in either case. Would you agree?"
Giving her machine pistol a twirl around her finger, Alexia smirks as the enemy soldiers begin to retreat, while not really knowing the fate of the man that she had shot with her grenade. With skillful hand she removes the A1 - Grenade Launcher and slides it back into its designated sleeve, while her hand with the firearm gives it another teasing flourish and holstering it with ease. Silently, she walks through the village and kicks one of the better-preserved corpses in the gut, sending it effortlessly into the air, and effortlessly catching it in her arms. Slinging the body over her shoulders, the Wesker would start making her way out of the village, though the was plenty of time for the shinobi in the village to try and stop her if they wished to tempt their own fates. More over... she would not be against using more for her experiments, and a living person would be far more useful than one that had ceased being functional from a while ago.

"You Were That Foundation, Never Gonna Be Another One, No. I Followed, So Taken, So Conditioned I Could Never Let Go."
The battlefield of the Katana was the perfect place for a unknown person to surface in the real world, from the eerie place of the Afterlife. All a sudden, the remaining life force of both the clad enemies and the shinobi of the Hidden Katana gathering together in one place near the village. As the energies of the deceased completely merge, the women known as Kaho Muranaka appears in the flesh. As she breathes, she realizes she has completely reformed herself in the real world and that it doesn't have that lost soul feeling to its atmosphere. Even though the life force is very enjoyable what she just fed on, she didn't even smile about it. So stern, so stoic like too, like she is on a mission. "Don't worry my old friend, you will be restored to your former glory." She thought as she would look at Cerberus's End, her fragmented blade, one she used to hook and sink into her enemies, tearing flesh from their bodies. She then eyed her sniper rifle on her back, The Eye Of Osiris, very fearsome gun that pulls from her will, her mental power.
She would make her way to the village to finish her blade, she can hear the sound of the black smiths, working on different blades, many types are created here. Though in the distance, she can see two women, one a red hair girl with a grin to her face donning a yellow jacket. The other one is a long blue hair girl, with a purple eye gaze, no smile with the look of a swordswomen like herself. Despite these features, she won't stir away from her objective, she has a place to be and a weapon needing final touches. Though there is a male here too, but like the other two, she won't pay any mind to him. She finds what she is looking for, a blacksmith forge station, and finds exactly what she is looking for. A book to look through how to forge a certain safety and sheathe to carry it in. She decides to work with the first thing, the safety, she needs something that can allow her to catch her opponent off guard which she works on the metal for a Shatter Safety. Shatter Safety according to the book, is a very backlashing type which if the target broke her safety, it would send shrapnel towards them. This could very well make them back off from her while she puts the blade away if she can't draw it and use it. Though she would purposely have it get damaged so that it would do its thing and give her a temporary advantage on the battlefield.
Next thing would be its sheathe, she thinks furnished leather upon her sword would be the perfect décor and allows a little bit of defense if she used it to defend herself with it. She would gather leather from some parts of the forge as she would read instructions of wrapping some hard leather, with the goat kind of leather, giving it that barbarian look. She would even lightly tap it to check its stability, and the leather doesn't budge from the hard leather wrapping around the sheathe. Some men look at her as they observe her work, some men take a step towards her but back off due to the stern look in her eyes. As if she's ready to kill someone with her newly finished blade as the hook blade would even shine in the sunlight, showing how shined and sharp the blade is. In the first place, the reason why Kaho chose the Hook blade is so that when she gets a good dig into her opponent, and when she force pulls it out, it can cause some laceration on her enemy. That can give a good blood trail to her enemy, allowing her to track them. With the blade finished, she takes a breathe to examine the atmosphere and environment around her. Its quite the sight and feeling to be in the real world, appearing as a living person like everyone else but in truth, she has been dead for a long time but only revived by a powerful single lifeforce.

Sasaki shook Raelyn's hand with a firm nod of her head. "Indeed, stronger together. Besides, somebody's gotta represent from the Land of Iron when it comes to the Chunin Exams.", she remarked with a soft smile to the fellow sword woman. She seemed hopeful for the future of the Village all things considered, but the weird smell of death that followed a man who strode by them gave her the creeps. It was as if they were a void in existence, and yet at the same time were apart of it. Though their creepy aura did nothing to unsettle her too bad. Besides, who needed anyone to rain on her parade when she had just made a new friend?
Sasaki had always had the talent with making friends in the Village, even with those who most would consider non charismatic and unappealing to associate with. As an orphan, she had a lot in common with those who had lost their own parents to the wars of the past and now of the present. It was a valuable trait to have when it came to networking and making connections. It had even helped her out once in the past.
A ninja that had been traveling through the Hidden Katana Village had taken Sasaki under his wing and trained her in the arts of being a truly splendid Ninja. Sure, she could not use ninjutsu or genjutsu, but she had a fierce power at her fingertips. The ability to open her chakra gates and enter an empowered state of being that rivaled even ninja in the jounin class as a genin. It was her talent with the Gates that made her a terrifying opponent, and now? She had a friend to support with this lethal talent. Though, Sasaki was not sure about what Raelyn wanted in the Village. "Well, I suppose you'll want to work on a sword since you're here? Plenty of forges and the like around and with me, I doubt anyone will charge you for use of a station.", she offered with a kind wave of her hand to urge the Hidden Craftsman kunoichi along to follow her to a place near Sasaki's favorite forge.
The sign over the work station said 'The Rusted Nut', a forge that had been operated by her grandfather during the wars of the past to supply the various buyers with the fantastic weapons that brought about terrifying destruction. It was at this place of crafting that Sasaki gave form to The White Raven, her claymore, and also the place where she had stored The Black Dragon. The Black Dragon was a deadly katana that she had been designing to help her with manifesting the black flames of the Karinzanjutsu. A powerful form of kenjutsu that almost seemed like ninjutsu, except that it could be used by those who had adopted the power of the Celestial Chakra Gates.

He had not yet begun to torment them. Perhaps they, too, would see the generosity he was showing them now, one day, when the relentless fingers of death came to take them. Perhaps he would be the instrument of their death, or perhaps another shinobi. It mattered little.
For a time, Alyxandr just watched and listened.
These people, would-be brave defenders of their villages. They were children, all. Foolish in their concerns, and useless in their ability to defend their homes. A sense of pity creeped into the edge of Alyx’s mind. It was shameful that the defense of their villages had been left to mere children. Where was the great Kage when Hidden Katana fell, while their children fell beneath the blades of an invader much to great for them to oppose?
These children were weak. Pathetic. Useless. But it was not their fault. They should have never been expected to oppose such a formidable threat. Their Kages had failed them. Left them to slaughter and ruin.
He did not let his pity show on his face, even behind the apparatus that covered his mouth, as if showing some form of kindness would be seen through it. Alyxandr did not deal in kindness. He dealt in death. He turned his attention from the pair, and the others.
Among the scattering of dead and wounded, there was one other who seemed uninjured and unperturbed, even to revel in the presence of so much carnage, so much death, a woman that Alyxandr did not immediately recognize. His curiosity was piqued. He watched as the woman easily lifted a corpse onto her shoulder, and made to leave with her recently-deceased prize. He smirked behind the mask, as he made his approach on silent feet.
”You are quite different from the others here… why waste your talents a Village doomed to die? That has even been forsaken by their Kage?” Alyxandr called out to the woman, standing calmly in place as he waited for a reply. His voice was high, as a childs would be, but harsh and hoarse. A childs voice that had seen hell and returned. Like a song scraped over glass and blades, and muffled behind his mask. He made sure he was loud enough to be heard clearly by at least a few passing shinobi.
His burning red eyes watched her every movement, not as a predator would watch a prey, or vice versa, but as one would watch an equal.

Steadily works on the weapon further and further, readjusting the safety and as well as check the leather strappings. She wants her sword Cerberus's end to be able to deal a lot of damage to her opponents, specially when it gets drawn and its special ability restored with the right pieces. Its no wonder why the blacksmiths work so hard here, each sword is special, its special ability can be like a manifestation of a swordswomen's skill and strength against any adversary that may come across their path. Though there is a certain mechanic she wants her weapons to possess, the ability to be able to combine together to form one lethal dangerous weapon, a sniper-blade hybrid, allowing her to keep her opponents either long range or close. It wouldn't matter the distance between them and her, she can reach them and hurt them with deadly accuracy and precision.
This isn't no joking matter or some imagination that can't be brought forth, this is something she is determined to create and bring to light as part of her arsenal. Her ultimate masterpiece, her strongest weapon, most valuable to her and without one piece or the other, she can't combine and bring it out. This is why she came here in the first place, to bring out the true power of her weapons and use them in future endeavors and also to find someone from her missing past. She can't stop thinking about this white hair women, one with a blindfold, so stuck faced, and everything. Like the cold she wears constantly and never allows a smile to be etched or dreamed. Once she completes her weapon, she sits back, thinking about what she is going to do when she finds her. When she does find her, she will be united with her and this time since she doesn't like the feeling of forgetting her, she will obsess over her and never let her out of her sight.

"As I Burn Another Page, As I Look The Other Way, I Still Try To Find My Place In The Diary Of Jane."
Miyanari Hitomi felt very small and out of place as she entered the Hidden Katana for the first time, even as familiar with the blade as she was. She had always used the same blade, the one that hung at her waist now, scuffed and dinged here and there from her training, passed down from trainees before.
This blade was only sharpened for a mere six inches, directly in the center of the cutting edge. She had ran this edge through countless bamboo mats and thrown fruit, but never another flesh-and-blood person. She was not ready for that, physically or mentally, she knew, no matter how many times she had stood blindfolded at the end of a zipline, waiting for a straw mat to come into perfect range for a perfect slice, severed halves joining a pile of their kin behind her as she reset her self-made device.
She was a well-trained, if untested swordsman, but her blade was ill-suited to combat, and as a Genin, she would be needing a new one.
She had trained among her Miyanari kin for most of her childhood, and was considered a peer, if a little green, among the soldiers of her village. She had bested many of them in sparring situations with dulled blades, much to the surprise and enjoyment of the other soldiers, roaring with laughter upon seeing their fellow soldiers beaten by a little girl.
She never laughed with them, though. She knew that when the cards were down, and the blades were sharp, it didn’t always end with the first cut. Her training was incomplete, as always.
She had spent countless more hours alone in the forest, training her cuts against soldiers of wood and leaf, or mere air, practicing her forms, practicing her draws. She valued her time alone. The Miyanari clan had been kind to her for her whole life, of course, and she valued her friends and family more than anyone else, she always felt out of place among them. When she voiced this to her late father, he had merely laughed and attributed it to her Benimaru blood.
She had visited the Benimaru in Hidden Moon twice in her childhood. Once when she was very little, and could scant remember anything but the feeling of eyes watching her, and once only a year ago, where she could remember everything, including the eyes watching her. The Banimaru were eccentric, to say the least, all geniuses. She felt immediately exposed and uncomfortable there, the single fool in a room of superiors, there for the entertainment of the clan, like some sort of curiosity.
Despite that feeling, when her Father passed, she had resolved herself to travel to Hidden Moon. She had responsibilities, family obligations. The Hidden Cloud had many swordsmen her equal, whereas her Mother’s clan had none. She could learn many things from them. It was her birthright, they had assured her.
It was in preparation for this time away from the only home she had ever known that she had decided a new blade was in order, one to replace the tarnished old blade she had always used, one capable of protecting those great minds that lived in her mother’s homeland.
One in the Hidden Katana, though, Tomi felt lost, not knowing where to start. She had held a katana for most of her life, but she knew little about how they were crafted. She was going to need some help.
