River looked to Derek, smiling quietly. He knew he ignored Derek's hand, but River wasn't one for a lot of contact immediately. A part of him knew it could come off as rude, but maybe he could blame being just as dumbfounded as Kor.

".....It has been over ten years since I've seen him. I'm...I'm not sure." Everything had changed in that time. "I'm staying at some apartments in the north side of the city." A tiny little one bedroom apartment that was smaller than this one. River couldn't afford a lot. He couldn't really hold down a normal job because of the accident. He wouldn't tell them that, though. Neither of them needed to know his financial status. He made enough to survive.



Kor couldn't keep his eyes off the other, looking him over as best as he could. All he could really see was River's face and his fingers. Everything else was covered. Not how he used to be at all.

"North eh? Uh.." He rubbed his neck awkwardly. "Kraven's gonna s**t bricks too..."



"Kraven's here?" He remembered Kray. What were the chances the three of them were all in Destiny City now? River couldn't help the surprised laugh as he asked the question. "That... You are the glue."



"Yeah, Kray's uh... Another boyfriend."


River looked confused at Kor's words and looked to Derek. He knew he said Derek was his main boyfriend, but he'd thought it had been an inside joke between them or something.

"What?"

Kor took the phone back and tapped out his response really fast, sliding it back to Derek.



Kor didn't want to be alone with him. It wasn't that he didn't trust himself, it was that he didn't know what to do. He didn't know how he was feeling about this whole thing. If Derek wasn't here to ground him, Kor didn't know how much he'd spiral out of control.



River looked very confused still and just rubbed at his neck a little more. "....Alright."

So Kor had three boyfriends, it sounded like. At least he'd found his happiness. It did make River's heart lighter to know. The other man deserved all the happiness in the world, with as big of a heart as he had. And if Kraven was there, well, good. Kray understood Kor in some way.

"That's good. I'm happy for you. Uh... I don't know... what I really hoped for... coming here, but I just wanted you to know I'm....not dead?"



Kor gave a laugh at that and scrubbed his hands over his face. "Yeah, you're not. That's. Holy s**t." He leaned into Derek now, pushing their sides together as he looked at the other.

"Uh... you... Kray's gonna be here soon."



River nodded again. "That's what you mentioned, right, Derek?" He said, looking back to the blond. He still didn't look legal. It was an interesting choice for Kor.

"I don't really want to impose if you've got things to do. We can uh... we can meet up later?"

River sill hesitated but eventually did start nodding. He wasn't sure he wasn't being lied to when Derek said he wasn't imposing. River sure did feel like he did. He felt like it might have been better for this tight-knit crew if he'd stayed unaware of where Kor had been, but that was thoughts for when he was alone. For now, he pushed them from his mind and just looked between the three.

"Alright."

Kor leaned in and pressed a kiss to Derek's forehead, pushing some of those unruly curls out of the way to do it. "We got a lot of talking to do..."
