Ushi 8 Crap he should have moved ages ago, he moved his arm and a branch caught on his bandage. He tried to get away, he hissed in pain as the branch scraped the still angry bite underneath. He felt a gush and His heart sank. He had ripped off the scab, it would take longer to heal now.

Sae 8 She stared at him with large , blank eyes and tilted her head in question. It did indeed look like he was hurt. She motioned for him to stand stepping back so he didn't have to stand while still underneath the tree. This one was quite strange, but perhaps he had just enjoyed her spirit dancing. Curiosity was good.

Ushi 9 He stood when she motioned, wondering at the intense look in her eyes. "Sorry, I just been wondering what you were doing. I saw you begin to dance and I want to say you're very good." He clammed up like he had seen his very wise father do sometimes when his mouth was getting the better of him.

Sae 9 She placed a warm hand on his arm and stared at him again. What had happened to give someone so young, so serious and injury? Had it been a farming or fishing accident? She wished his dense self would pick up on her question. She was used to people being able to read her for the most part. She figured the eyes did most of the work.

Ushi 10 "Oh, I got it during some beast tamer. training. I wasn't careful enough. If you have time. I can tell you the story." He wondered why she hadn't said anything yet. At least out loud. Could she talk? He wasn't brave enough to ask in case he offended her. He offered an arm. "Come, I'll get food and tell it to you. I'm afraid it's a bit of a long story."

Sae 10 She nodded, and sighed in contentment she loved stories and was consistently the one most wrapped up in them at night at the fire much to the amusement of the group. For she rarely made words herself but with other stories, she could close her eyes and see exactly what they were talking about. And for a moment she would be separated from the painful echo of extremely sad memories that she couldn't really recall no matter how hard she tried.
