"Gods you're depressing." There was a slim chance that Yunan was just messing with him, but based on his surly attitude Nyko knew the hybrid was telling the truth. While he didn't have many friends growing up at least Nyko had them. It was the only way he'd survived living in Oba for so long, and what had ultimately allowed him to escape.
"I'll get started today." If he said he was personally looking for an audience with her Nyko had no doubt that Aaricia would come. Still, setting up a meeting between her and Yunan might be trickier if she was guarded. What happened to you? Life had taken them both in different directions, and he could only hope some of that same girl he'd met so long ago was inside her.
"If she agrees to it then it's a solid plan. Dazhiq would either have to accept a non-Oban as his in-law or sleep in the gutter; either way you come out on top." Still..."If Aaricia already has a lover then we could line his pockets, put up a front, and proceed from there. She could have the life she wants, we get what we want and it's fine. If she doesn't then the two of you might end up married."

There was the faintest frown on Yunan's lips, but he let the comment slide. It wasn't worth the time or hassle. Still, he found himself pouring another glass of water as he pondered their options. "I suppose we'll have to work on setting up that meeting. If I can meet with her then I can get a better feel for the situation. I'll have to find out more about this Dazhiq." Yunan's gaze narrowed at the very name. It had been worthwhile to go to Belrea for nearly a year to set up shop there but at the same time it had cost him some of his connections in Oba. Who knew how much could change within a year? Yunan sighed at the very thought before finishing the water in one gulp and slamming the empty glass onto the table. It would be satisfying though if he could get rid of this investor as that would rid him of one less annoyance to bother him throughout the next few years. Once he had the stores secured then he could return to casually playing the game and leave the business back in his Aunt's hands while focusing on something else, maybe even going back to Belrea to run even more pharmacies there.
"I never imagined myself the marrying type." He scoffed at the idea. "Maybe we'll see if friendship can carry a marriage." Yunan teased with a look towards Nyko. "Just getting her back in the household should honestly be enough for now. I just want to secure the funds, your friend's happiness is a secondary concern for me." He admitted without much remorse, especially since he knew nothing about this Aaricia and only cared about Nyko's response. "I'm willing to bend the plan to accommodate her own desires because of my connection with you, but I won't tolerate someone who is completely unwilling to work with me. So let's hope that meeting goes well."

"Then there's not much point in wearing this." Nyko picked at the hem of his tunic. While the material was lightweight and plain compared to some of his stage costumes it would stand out where he was planning to go. He'd have to make sure to leave his jewelry behind lest he risk unwanted attention, but there wasn't much he could do about his looks. If someone recognized him then they recognized him, though he would try to slip around as much as possible.
He shrugged out of the tunic and tossed it onto the back of the nearest chair. His pants were basic enough to pass and since they only went to his calf he could walk barefoot. After grabbing a nearby sash, tossing it around his waist and giving his hair a quick tussle Nyko was as good as he would get.
Being this exposed felt...weird. Even when he was growing up he was still expected to dress a certain way and with his scars on prominent display he felt odd.
"Both are important to me." He commented, tossing Yunan a pensive look before giving his hair once last go over. "I'm sure she wants out of this as much as you want to line your pockets so I don't see why she wouldn't work with you. Just go in there with all of your charm. Anyway, I'm off to secure the meeting; anywhere in particular you want her to go?"

"Hmm." Yunan would have offered to help Nyko removed the top, but he was already in action and so the hybrid simply watched. While there was a bit of something dancing in his gaze, Yunan was behaved enough to realize that they didn't have too much time to waste. The longer he took the more likely that others would rise to the occasion and try to bring this long-lost daughter home for whatever vengeance her father had in mind.
The response from Nyko only had Yunan's lips press tightly together, the appearance of the scars also bringing a heat to his expression. He had his own agendas for dominating and destroying some of the nobles by taking their riches, but seeing such a sight reminded him of other reasons he delighted in taking down the corrupt. "Well, hopefully I can charm her onto our side. Your friendship should surely help along with her hatred of this man, our mutual enemy it seems." At least for this matter. Once they were finished Yunan doubted he would see the girl again unless there was a deeper fondness between her and Nyko. The very thought made his gaze narrow before the next question made him focus once more on the matter at hand. "There's a tavern on the edge of town, a larger establishment where members of the underworld like to gather. She should arrive there the evening after tomorrow and ask for a place to enjoy the chuparosa. They'll know which private room to take her after that." He could only give this Aaricia so much time to react and he only had so much time to research and prepare a plan. There were several holes in his knowledge of the situation and Yunan would look to remedy that while Nyko went to set up a meeting.

"The Spider's Nest? I remember the place." It was amusing in a way, to hear Yunan talk like that. Either he was trying to dance around the name himself or he didn't know exactly how far in the dirt Nyko had been when he lived here. "Evening after tomorrow, chuparosa; got it."
Passing the information along would be tricky enough, but getting Aaricia to agree would be harder. They were banking on a mutual hatred for her father and the connection they'd once shared so hopefully that would be enough. A part of his heart raged at not being the one to meet with her, but it was obvious enough he'd help her if she asked. Yunan, however....He needed to make sure it was going to be safe for all of them and worth pursuing. It made sense in the long run, but Nyko was still bitter over it.
"Wish me luck." Nyko took one last drink of his liquor, raised his hand in a salute and walked the door into the Oban morning.
