Ziya shook his head in playful protest. "Moro." He corrected his mother with a teasing grin, the expression identical to his father's own grin that quirked his lips slightly more towards the right. Though it was true that his uncle didn't get into trouble because he was too busy trying to keep Ziya out of it whenever he visited. His amusement slipped though at the sudden question and the boy found himself reaching forward so that he could touch his mother's arm almost as if reassuring them both. "Jeg er ikke sikker." He admitted quietly as he kept a hand on his mother's arm for support. Did he want to travel one day? Maybe, but at the same time he loved being here in the village. It was one thing to go visit his cousins a few hours away for a few weeks but another thing completely to travel for months through the main continent like his father sometimes did. Ziya didn't want to make his mother sad because she always seemed a bit sadder when his father wasn't around. What would it be like if he left too? The boy pursed his lips and finally shook his head. Definitely not yet at least.
"I like snow too much and I'm afraid of melting." He managed with a small smile towards his mother. "Sammen en dag?" Ziya finally asked with a curious look towards his mother. Unless she was also afraid of melting? It was just....well the boy pursed his lips before shaking his head again. The heat would probably be too much for them, right?

At least he wasn't trying to lie just to make her feel better. Sylvirah knew that one day her children might roam the lands like their father before them, but it just left her with a pit of unease. How many times had she stood by a decaying village watching as figures disappeared along the horizon? "Just so long as you come home." She wouldn't stop him, not if he really wanted to go, but she just didn't want it to be the last time they saw each other.
"Perhaps." She answered at length. In all honesty she hadn't given it any real thought. Beyond a few trips to see Zyphire's family she hadn't had any desire to leave the North and since he'd never pressed it she just stayed. "Would it make you happy if I did?"

"Bestandig." Promised Ziya with a small smile towards his mother. This place would always be his home and he never saw himself living anywhere else. If anything he just wanted to travel once to satisfy his own curiosity of the world beyond Zena. He had gotten a taste from his father's stories and from the foreigners he saw sometimes when they went to the city, but it would be so much more for him to actually experience it.
"Yes, but not if you're unhappy with it. So only if you wanted to go. " Replied Ziya. "But if you felt like you were melting then definitely not!" He added hastily even though he was mostly teasing about melting....mostly.

[Sylvirah 10]
“I’ll think on it.” Sylvirah answered honestly. She didn’t want to fill his head with wistful thoughts of a family trip when she wasn’t sure she ever wanted to leave Zena. Maybe one day she would, but…well, it would have to be for a short while and only during the Winter. They had far too much to do here as it was during the warmer months.
“I’m more worried about you melting. You’re the one with snow for hair.” Teasingly, she reached out to ruffle his hoary locks before turning back to the hide. “Alright then, let’s finish up. It’s too quiet outside and I don’t trust it.” Either her partner or daughter were into something, hopefully not both, and the implications were unsettling.
