Vermina leaned back on her haunches, taking a moment to consider the question. "Everyone is able to heal, of course, but not everyone has the magical abilities to heal faster. That tends to be quite limited. Most of the magic we have gets focused on use in battle." It would have been a useful skill, but they made due with poultices and teas and just being the strongest they could be.
"That is kind of you to fetch this for them," she observed, returning the earlier compliment. "I am sure they appreciate your work." She had been in a similar line of duties when she had been younger, fetching back and forth for others. "I have never had... kilfee? I tend to prefer the lighter teas myself."

"Oh okay." Sini blinked as she listened to Vermina. Who would have thought that she was going to learn so much about Alkidikes today? Still, she truly enjoyed it because it felt like she was learning part of her lost heritage. She would have to make certain to pay Vermina back one day with some sort of kindness or something. "It is kind but also partly greedy? Or rather just an attempt at trying to survive and provide for myself." Admitted Sini with a small smile, her cheeks flushed at the sudden praise. She never truly thought of it that way though she did enjoy helping others out, especially Raisa since she was so kind to her and Rek.
"Mmm. Then perhaps I'll have to brew you a cup one day, just so you can say you tried it." Sini offered with a smile. "Once we're finished gathering these I can easily brew you up something in Neued, but if not today then another time?"

Brow rising, Vermina actually found herself laughing. "Do you believe you do it only for the praise? We cannot go through this world seeing good deeds as acts of selfishness. That would make selfish acts actually kind!" She shook her head lightly. "We all work to provide for ourselves, but that doesn't always mean that every action is purely for our own sake." She could actually see much of her younger self in Sini. It brought out the mother in her.
Try the earthling drink? Her smile twitched. "I suppose.. it is good to try new things, is it not? I have some free time." She straightened up and shifted her pouches. "Now, do you have enough or is a second pouch needed?"

Sini blinked in surprise before finding herself chuckling in turn. “Alright, alright.” She agreed with a grin. “I’ll have to remember that.” She mused before reaching out for a final silverfern that caught her attention. The girl instantly brightened up at the acceptance of her offer before shaking her head at the question. “I think one pouch will suffice since I don’t want to stay away from Neued for too long.” Already morning was slipping away and she had spent far more time away than anticipated thanks to the disruption of the radaku pack.
At least Vermina had come to save her day.Sini was thankful for the help and truly hoped that she could provide a good cup of kilfee at least to thank Vermina. At least now she had a basket full of silverfern to bring back to Raisa which would surely earn her some good coin. That way she could save up even more for her future travels and for a gift for Rek! The hybrid girl smiled happily towards Vermina before preparing to head back the way she had come so that she could return to Neued before it was late. Raisa would probably need help with dinner after a busy day dealing with clients and then Sini could help her prepare the individual teabags that she sold in the market. But first kilfee? Vilasini glanced at Vermina thoughtfully. “If you would want to walk with me that would be great! I'll make certain your first cup of kilfee is the best thing ever. It's the least I can do for all the help you gave me today."

With a light nod, Vermina made sure to secure her pouches in place. It wouldn't do to have her precious collections slip and spill before she got home. That.. and it would be best to have it nice and secure to prevent any earthlings with sticky fingers running off with them! The girl's happy smile warmed her, and she followed as calmly as she could. "I am looking forward to it," she mused. While the 'strong, biiter' drink didn't sound all that appealing, she was looking forward to the experience and having a little extra time with the teen.
