Even Sylvite, on her nearby rooftop perch, raised an eyebrow at what she could see coming from the half open garage door. So that was where he was. Okay. Good.
Cybele, for a split second, froze. Seeing Sylvite like this had been enough to send her send the cold rage flowing through her body, from her spine to her fingertips, enough to get her to ignore the danger of their power imbalance and to go for that fist to her face. When the second General's aura flared up out of nowhere, just feet away, accompanied by the smell of smoke and sparks on the wind, tiny needles of something began to p***k through all that anger.
Fear.
Before her corruption, Cybele might not have paid the fear much mind. She'd been reckless, from all that she'd found out. She knew that she hadn't cared anything about danger when she'd been in the clutches of the Negaverse.
Now, though? Things were different. She wanted to live. She had a family to go back for. She had things to fight for. She'd developed the tiniest bit of self preservation, at least enough to not go after two Generals at once.
Cybele ran.
The civilian was safe, anyway, so she took off. She even called on her Super magic and let the arrows rain down on her, making her faster.
Sylvite, of course, teleported after her, but her aim was kinda off. She was trying to land in front of Cybele but with the magic, the senshi was faster than she'd been expecting and got in front of her.
There was nothing for Sylvite to do at that point but to try to chase her down.
