Att the question of her being a mother she nodded her head and grinned. "Yes. I had my older twins quite young. Jax and Djego. They take after their father." Kalliope had a soft expression when she thought of her oldest boys. "I have a step-daughter, her name is Brexxa. And then my triplets were a blessing for me and my husband. Visha, Korin, and Sekani are all sweethearts." She beamed as she talked about all of her kids.

"It is strange to think of a Keldari as being a family pet but I think it depends on the temperament. Lissa has only ever shown aggression toward people that she didn't know." Usually when she was being harrassed by an audience member.

Sariza couldn't help the way her eyes widened. "I can't imagine keeping up with so many, but you're blessed to have them. I'm sure it's never lonely in your house." Having that many little ones in one space gave her feelings of anxiety. As an only child Sariza simply didn't have that much experience around children and she tended to freeze around them. "One day I hope to have one of my own with my betrothed, but I can't imagine more than that. I feel like I would disappoint them."

And besides the fact that Mari likely wouldn't be able to handle all of those little hands grabbing on his fur. Poor thing would probably have a brain malfunction and croak.

"Ah, I just realized I've been taking up your afternoon when you probably had other plans."

She chuckled a little. "Well it's never quiet, that's for sure." And honestly if it were quiet she'd think something was wrong or her children were up to something. "Well I hope you get to have one some day if that's what you want." Kalli knew some people just weren't meant to be parents, either because they weren't mature or because they didn't feel they were ready. She was more of the gentle parent - always trying to be understanding and guide with a soft touch as opposed to a harsh one.

"Oh, yes, just trying to escape the overbearing family for a few hours. Figured I'd go shopping or something.."

"If the Gods are generous, I'll have one soon." Sariza might not have wanted one right at that second, but it certainly would have helped her case. Her main 'duty' as a wife was to give her husband an heir, but she knew Faisal would never be so pushy. The other nobility, though...

"...Well, if you don't have many plans for the day, perhaps you wouldn't mind spending some time with Mari and I? There aren't many shops that will let him in, but there's a spot that serves street food from Jauhar that I was thinking of trying."

Her eyes lit up at the idea of having food from Jauhar again. "Oh that sounds lovely! Its been so long since I've had anything from Jauhar." Kalliope chuckled a bit. Since she'd spent years there she enjoyed the cuisine. "Have you had anything from there before?" She was curious to see if perhaps her new friend had had their food.

With a motion of her hand she urged the woman to walk with her. "I pent a lot of time in Jauhar with my twins' father. I miss the food."
