* Gaffs are sideshow attractions that are basically art pieces constructed to look like a cryptid. Often a form of mix and match taxidermy but not always.
** Blob monsters are the corpses of creatures that have decayed in the sea a bit before being washed ashore. They often look nothing like what they did in life due to the decomposition. Please don't look up photos of these if you're not ok with seeing dead and decomposed creatures!
