He laughed softly, "I'm pretty sure there would be ups and downs regardless but they'd be loved all the same." Nodding at her, he stood and made his way over to the crib. Ever so gently he leaned down and settled Tiho in, wincing slightly as the boy's eyes opened for the briefest moment before closing them again. Kres straightened with a relieved sigh. "Of course. That sounds like a good plan to me." Kres opened his arms to give her a hug, fully prepared to take advantage of the baby being in bed to get just a few moments with his better half in his arms.

She watched as her husband gently moved to place their son in their crib, still impressed with how soft he was despite how much muscle he had. He was the perfect father, doting, considerate, and loving. She was so grateful for his presence in her life, and his impact on their family. That and he was delicious to look at even after all these years.
Smiling coyly, she stood and sauntered over to fall into his embrace, tipping her head up for a quick kiss before snuggling closer.
"For now, let's just appreciate the silence for a little bit longer."

Kres' arms closed around her and he held her close after their kiss but couldn't help the chuckle at her comment. "Silence is one of those things we get in 5 minute interval and yet I wouldn't have it any other way." He loved the life they had made together and couldn't help but look back on the nervous boy he had been when he first met Itotia. "As long as you're by my side, I could deal with anything." He placed another little kiss on her forehead. "Think we can sneak out of here and have him stay asleep?" He raised his eyebrows at her. She could probably do it with ease with as graceful as she was it was him that would have to be careful!

She let out a soft chuckle at his joke, but knew it was true. They never had silence in this house, and she was perfectly fine with that. It was a reality much different than the one she expected when she first traveled to Tendaji. A world she never imagined...but she wouldn't change it any other way. She was with her person, and had a family that showcased their love. It was wonderful and beautiful and perfect in every way.
Reaching out, she took his hand and gave it a gentle tug, before nodding toward the door. No more words needed to be said, especially if they were sneaking out. They'd have a little bit of time at least, and maybe they could talk Taliessin into watching him for a little bit more.

Carefully, he watched his steps as he followed her out of the room and pulled the door almost closed as he left a crack so they could hear Tihomir in case he woke up. Kres put his arm over Ito's shoulders and pulled her close once more. "Think we can do a quick power nap?" Surely they had enough time for that and it would help them get through the rest of the day and not be too exhausted. "Come on." He said quietly before leading them down the hall.
