... Eyebrows? She was confused about their... eyebrows? Sure, why WERE they different? But Elsheba couldn't help but feel a thrum of skeptical disappointment. She'd hoped that she knew things about... say, why the earthlings worshiped invisible gods when, clearly, Aisha and her children were the only gods that were real. You could see them... touch them. They birthed the Aishans and their children, and that the tree could take pieces of even earthlings had always made Elsheba believe that, once, they must have also been a part of Aisha - and had merely lost their way.
... Still. That last bit once again stole her interest, because Yael was another of those places (dark, haunted, twisted) that she'd heard about, but never been to. And... to have met the Elaria, before the treaty? "Goddess forbid, so close to the extremists' nest, and a hybrid at that - how ever did you escape? And... beyond that, were you in Yael to study them? How? Did you see their goddess there?"

Okay now Mnyiri was feeling the effects of her drinks. She'd had a few back to back and the rush of alcohol was finally starting to get to the behemoth of a woman. It didn't help that she didn't have much of a tolerance for the stuff, anyway.
"How about this; if you agree to come with me out there-" Mnyiri motioned to the wide open space where a gaggle of earthlings danced, "-I'll answer any question you have. Oh, and I have so many stories. Stories like you wouldn't believe! Like, how I was held at spear point by an Elarian and barely escaped!"
It really was a harrowing tale! Especially when she knew that the key to her story was juicy indeed; that the Elarian had been none other than their mystic!

[9/10] Go with her? Elsheba's mouth dropped open, and for a moment she was too stunned to respond. All the curiosity and intrigue, but she hadn't considered just... going. She had her responsibilities back home, didn't she? The merchants she'd agreed to escort? The...
... Well. The woman was drunk, anyway. "I believe you mentioned that." She dryly responded, propping a hand against her hip. "Just how many times have the Elarians or extremists nearly killed you? Never mind - I'd have to come with you to get that story, wouldn't I..." She bit her lip, thinking, turning her head to look out over the earthlings Mnyiri had gestured to. "... You must be very tipsy, my friend, to invite me along ... you don't even know my name yet."

"Sometimes the best adventures start with a feeling." Mnyiri smiled, the skin around her eyes crinkling with mirth. "Would it make a difference if I knew your name? It's just a title, but I can give you mine if it helps. I'm called Mnyiri."
How many opportunities had Mnyiri missed by holding back? Her younger years had been a flurry of dying her dreads, shaving her brows, and doing all she could to blend in. Now? Well, now she was holding her hand out to a perfect stranger that just had an aura that Mnyiri couldn't leave behind!
"Come with me. If you want to leave at the end of the evening you can, but if you want to stick around we can travel the world; Starting with Belrea."

Funny. Someone saying so flippantly that her name didn't mean anything to her should have been insulting, but somehow it felt exhilarating instead. She exhaled sharply, thinking for a moment intently. "Elsheba." She finally said, pushing herself to stand, properly, from where she'd been leaning so casually moments before. "And why not? Lets see where this good feeling of yours takes me."
