Corrupt Sailor Cymophane - G1

Draining energy was a relatively simple task. Cymophane didn’t mind it, especially when he had a General of Jet’s experience showing him the ropes.

He banished the ball of energy into his subspace pocket as directed. He would need more to meet his quota, but answering a distress call came first. Cymophane took Jet’s hand so he could be teleported, snickering to himself when he considered how insanely jealous Aquamarine might have been if he was there to see it.

Amusing as it could be to rile one of his superiors, Cymophane had no interest in actually fighting anyone stronger than he was. He accepted Jet’s warning with a nod. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Cymophane wore a smile on his face as he glanced around the area.

“I see a babushka,” he said, spying a Page through the trees, some twenty feet away or so. “With an old man. Who let them out of the nursing home?”

Cymophane could take them easily enough, if it came down to it.

Transcendent Eternal Encke & Viatrix [Square C2]

The patrol that night had thus far been easy; the only thing his senses had alerted him to was a youma that was simple enough to send back to the Rift. An easy night was a good thing; while it wasn't a guarantee the Negaverse wasn't up to its typical nonsense, it did mean there was less of it in this area of the city--

His steps stopped suddenly when he felt the aura of a general on the edge of his senses.

Encke and Viatrix both received a message that made his heart thump in his chest and her claws dig in just a bit too deeply into his shoulder. He didn't really appreciate that--

Backup.

"Alright," the smile he gave Basiluzzo was apologetic, "guess we have a change of plans-"

"Hurry up then!"

Viatrix bounded off of Encke, causing him to wince and rub at his shoulder, and ran ahead, dashing toward the trees of Central Park and weaving her way through them. She expected her two charges to follow her, quite near skidding to a stop once she reached the edges of the fountain. Ahead of her she already saw a general, a knight, a captain, a squire, a lieutenant -- Viatrix went up on her haunches and hissed lowly, staring at them from a small distance.

Encke jogged up behind her.

"Careful, you two."

Squire Sumner: A1

He hadn't heard the call, he had been out and about when he had attempted to power up to get back to his home more quickly. When that had happened, the amount of aura's in the area had immediately hit him. And it felt familiar... too familiar.

He was reminded of when Cybele... He hurried over and went to the first aura that he could recognize. "Pendour I... wow!" He hadn't expected to see the other Squire glowing. That was new.

There wasn't any time to ask about how it had happened though. "Do you know what's going on? I felt all of the auras..." He looked around, trying to see if he could find any of the others, either Chaos or Order. It was hard to tell and he couldn't quite see anyone from where they were.

Lieutenant Roselite - D6

Roselite could gather energy without much prompting when he put his mind to it. He wasn’t really hurting anyone, just leaving them a little weak. They would recover, and if they were lucky enough never to come across another Negaverse officer, they might not suffer the same experience again.

With an energy orb in hand, Roselite allowed Captain Bloodstone to teleport them both to the scene of the distress call. They appeared some distance away from what must be the central battle. Roselite wondered if Bloodstone did so for his sake, to give him time to get his bearings and summon what courage he could before they both dived into the thick of things.

With a steadying breath, Roselite banished the energy orb to subspace. He could do this. Without panicking. Captain Bloodstone believed in him. Roselite might not have a dependable weapon, but he had the bracelet Bloodstone gave him. If he was careful, if he stayed along the periphery, maybe he wouldn’t run into too much trouble. He could observe, watch for incoming threats, make mental notes about the figures that stood out.

“There are already so many auras,” he observed, unable to determine which belonged to General Ashanite and which belonged to the original target, much less who any of the rest might belong to.

General Chambersite: D1

Chambersite had still been setting up his "office" in the castle. It was one close to what could have been considered a kitchen in the old castle and he was attempting to make it a bit more habitable when he received the summons.

The first thing he did was roll his eyes.

Yet another General attempting to do a forced Corruption? When would they learn? Chambersite started to wonder if there was a branch he could go into that could be used for convincing Senshi and Knights to join them willingly. Even if the Knight was forcibly corrupted, and they would be, it didn't mean that it would stick.

Roquefort had been huddled in a corner chewing on a wheel of cheese that Chambersite had managed to bring down for it. He heard the General sigh and murmur "not again" before the General teleported away.

Roquefort took this as a sign that he could now rummage through the office to see if there were any other snacks he could take.

-----------------

When Chambersite teleported to the general area of the call for assistance, he could see that a Lieutenant, and a few others had already made it there before he did. From a distance he was sure that the General and Knight, though she appeared to be more of a Squire, appeared to be standing.

He took a moment to look at the Lieutenant that was now near him. Asking what her weapon was would be useless. Either it was something that Lieutenants used for a "shtick" or used for tossing at enemies for a distraction. He mentally sighed this time. Hopefully she could fight at least. She did look older than he was, though he wouldn't say that out loud. He gave her a smile. "Come on, you don't want to miss this right?" He said, gesturing over to where the main part of the conflict appeared to be.

"Just remember you can summon your weapon as many times as you want if you can toss it. I had to do the same with my own." He thought fondly of the toy turnip that had now turned into the Rapier at his hip.

He still missed just having it. It was too bad he couldn't disguise the sword.

"We'll see how this goes, but I can teleport you out if need be." One of the few times he would say that. As much as he supported the Negaverse, he didn't support forced corruption due to how many times it appeared to fail from what he had heard whispered. Roquefort had been very helpful when it came to information. So if Agents were put in danger just to try to capture someone to try to turn them instead of taking their starseed, he wouldn't hesitate to help them out of there or vouch for them if need be.

There appeared to be an Eternal very close to them and he raised an eyebrow. And there was the mauvian...
"If you want to start out small, you can try taking on that cat."

Super Hydor [Square A2]

The distress signal hit his phone once he henshined up, and he looked at it with some level of distaste. Of course. Why couldn't those generals just ******** off and leave well enough alone?

He wasn't a terribly good match for a general as a super, but a super was better than nothing, he supposed. He figured that others received the call as well, but Hydor wasn't blind to the possibility of everyone having the same thought, of the general calling for their own backup, of there being too many people at the park for just one or a few to handle. He grabbed a nearby umbrella off the ground that had been pushed outward and discarded - an impromptu weapon, if needed - and headed toward Central Park.

The crush of auras didn't miss his notice, and he realized perhaps all of his assumptions were right. Plenty of people. General had probably called for his own backup. Auras of all levels.

He kept to the edges for now, never the type to simply charge into battle, evaluating his next approach.

Hydor also carefully kept an eye for anything he should take note of. Information was a sword that he could use to cut through the bullshit.

Basic DMS Bellerophon: B5

There weren't enough curse words in any language, including entire books dedicated to them, could convey Bellerophon's annoyance at this situation.

He decided instead of the usual rooftop that he liked to go on that appeared to be all to easily found by everyone, that he would go to the park and drain from people there.

But of course, it was just his luck that he had to run into well... another battle. He was sure it was just by chance that he managed to run into another Dark Mirror Senshi that appeared to be just as confused as he was. He grumbled and murmured "again?" before he turned to the other Dark Mirror. "Guess you got caught in all of this? Any idea what's going on?"

General Faustite -- G1

Laissez faire, this one. Call wasn't much for urgency, but Faustite was losing his patience over teaching Albite to teleport. Easy enough to respond, find the area, be whatever General Ashanite wanted him to be. Faustite hadn't the stamina for front line cannon fodder, but he had a senshi at his disposal who did.

Albite wouldn't need convincing; a breath, and the pair melted from one part of the city to the next.

Drew the breath it cost him, absent the energy lost. "Cut your hair," he tossed over a shoulder as he trotted ahead. Park was in sight now — in the distance, a fountain. And Ashanite — it had been a while, long while, but there was much distance to cross and many bodies to overcome before they had a chance at reaching him. Could've told Albite how to proceed, he knew, but the thought tightened something in his chest. Didn't know how he'd gotten so gunshy over command.

But there was a ready remedy to that — Jet. Even if they parted on poor terms with each other.

Faustite slowed to a stop near him, marginally out of breath. "You get a status?" Humans of both stripes were already filling the area; if Ashanite had a plan, Faustite expected him to dispense it. And if he didn't, well.

They weren't' in the land of infinite youma, at least. No one could ******** up that badly.

Corrupt Sailor Psilomelane — D1

Psilomelane wouldn't have known where to go for General Ashanite's summons if she wasn't already near the park. She was still acquainting herself with the big city, still learning the broad, unmissable landmarks by which she could know such a metropolis — enormous, gaudy theatre signs or avant-garde-style skyscrapers or demure parks — anything to say where she was in the context of the city. And now? Now she'd have a park to consider memorable.

Memorable. What a concept.

Having been near the outer perimeter of the park, it was the work of crossing a few buildings that put her on the grassy hillocks. The fountain was straight down from there — and the sky lit up with auric saturation. So much overlap, so much power in one place that her senses felt jammed by it. Like staring into the sun and expecting her eyes to survive.

But a General summoned her, and she had to respond. Trotted in from the north, stuck to the pavement, and she came in full view of the fountain in moments. Came up behind a… She didn't know agent ranks well enough to know what she was, but she was definitely Negaverse.

"Hi," she broached, a little breathless. "Psilomelane. Would you like to team up?"

Super Anser [Square F2]

Anser didn't even need to get through the text of the call to action. Her current plans were abandoned, and Anser made a beeline for Central Park, specifically headed toward where she knew there were some trees.

She had learned, over the years, that charging headlong into battle with a general was not necessarily advisable at her level. It didn't stop her from taking on other methodologies; surveying the environment to find out the best way to strike by surprise was a good way to get some of the advantages back in her hands. Climbing trees was something she had done as a child and something she was exceptionally good at now after years of doing the same as a senshi.

Finding a larger tree near the edge of the fountain plaza, she climbed up into it and padded around, stepping carefully onto a branch where she could get a better view of the action beyond the fountain.

The number of auras around her didn't miss her notice. She presumed the purple-haired general facing off against a bright knight and a squire were the people who called them in --

Didn't seem to be a lot of privacy over there, but maybe there could be a way to utilize that fountain.

General Benitoite (D6)

He'd been out on a patrol, and energy gathering, nothing too special or difficult. It was a simple night out doing what he'd done for years. The call which came through however gave him pause. A general needed back up against a knight who had just called for back up of her own....how interesting. It had him figuring the knight in question was weaker than the General, why else call for back up in a one on one fight? Though he didn't know if there was some underlying reason for the knight to need back up, aside from being weaker.

It did however have him teleporting to the park.

Arriving he could already feel plenty of auras in attendence. It looked like both the knight and the general had gotten the back up they'd called for. Lovely.

Shaking his head he headed toaawrds the c onverging point, or at least he guessed it to be such. As he started on his way he did spot a very familiar Lieutenant and their Captain.

"Lieutenant Roselite, a pleasure to see you again tonight." Especially at such an event. "Feels like this is quite the gathering." Nodding his head as he spoke. Already he was thinking of someone else who this party could use....a certain someone who he knew would enjoy such an event....not to mention he needed to speak with her anyway. Perhaps after this they could find Acubens and talk to her. The idea in his head he reached out with his own power in an attempt to summon a certain coprrupt senshi whom he knew well. She was rather loyal....and dangerous to any on the other side of the war.

Corrupt Super Nembus [Square B6]

Agents, it had crackled to life over her communicator, and she swallowed hard when she heard it, this is General Ashanite. Not a general she knew, but she couldn't dare to know every global general. I’m confronting a Knight in Central Park; she’s called for backup, and I could use some assistance securing her for corruption.

Called for --

Oh.

It sent a chill down her spine as she realized what the general's intention was. If she had called for backup, it was doubtful he was speaking of a willing corruption. The part of her that rejoiced at having perhaps more that would understand her predicament -- more servants of the great Metallia -- warred deeply with the part of her that didn't want to be involved, wanted to rail against the concept of forced corruption, wanted to rail against the concept of anything at all because it was an exceptionally cruel procedure.

Her instincts compelled her to follow the call, her mind begged her not to, her heart would forever be bound.

Nembus teleported in.

She stood at the precipice, wide-eyed, quite nearly wheezing at the press of signatures she felt almost immediately. At least it wasn't the Rift, and none of those signatures felt like the signatures of youma who wanted to eat them, but the press of Order signals were almost just as welcomed and just as revulsed. She picked up on Jet's communications over her communicator and quickly tuned in, not daring to say anything herself.

Suppose she should wait for a signal.

Super Dark Mirror Senshi Itokawa (B5)

Bellerophon wasn't alone, he rarely ever was, when the dark mirror senshi went out he had a shadow following him that night. It wasn't like he didn't know, Itokawa knew his partner could sense him. It also helped that he'd told the other he would be following him. He wanted to keep him safe, in case anything happened, but he also wanted to let Bellerophon do thing son his own as he learned and grew as a dark mirror senshi.

But when they reached the park he could sense it, even before his partner, and he drew closer. He didn't get too close but he got closer to his fellow dark mirror senshi. it was when another of their court turned up that he joined the both of them.

"Something big is happening. We should not get involved." It wasn't their place. Let the other two sides fight. If they had to do something perhaps they could hide and observe, see what happened. It was a good idea to know who key players on both sides were, as well as what was going on, it might help them in the future.

"We need to keep ourselves safe."

Dark Mirror Super Sailor Hydrus - B5

As a rule, Hydrus made it a point to not show up when things started to go down hill. He had his small corner of Mirrorspace to keep, he had his sister and brother in law to protect, and if the Negaverse started a fight, it usually ended badly for him. Occasionally, though, he wandered out of the regular patrol paths he took and came across a chaotic mess of power signatures.

The Senshi of Leviathans let out a sigh, hiding his arms in his sleeves as he made his way over to the small group of Dark Mirror Senshi over in the corner. Granted, he wasn't very... well known to the rest of his kind, but there was strength in numbers.

"I agree. Protect our own," he said quietly to Itokawa. Hydrus was content to observe and watch the fighting happen. For now.

Corrupt Super Noctua -- D6

Noctua had been out patrolling dutifully when Benitoite called her. She was the last active member of his team, and she took that very seriously. Officers jokingly called her Benitoites wolf pup around the offices, but she didn't mind.
In fact, she rather liked it. And so, like the loyal little wolfling that she was, when felt the tug on her like a leash she followed it with barely contained zeal. She stepped from her portal with a grace that belied her figure and took quick stock of the situation. Her lips curled into a wicked little smile as she looked up at her General.

"You could at least have let me limber up," she purred, altogether far too comfortable in the heat of battle. She rolled her head, her neck cracking audibly in the process. "Am I collected heads, hearts, or seeds?"

She glanced over at the pink lieutenant, deciding quickly that if Benitoite trusted him, she did too.

"One of you point to someone and I'll get whatever part of them you want."

She sounded too excited for whatever she had planned for her poor target.
