Caedus had never seemed particularly fond of physical contact, and the interest in hugging him at all brought a goofy grin to Encke's face. "Think I'd like to embrace you too."
Encke, for his part, was always fond of a good, tight hug between good friends. Sometimes he got into the habit of lifting people outright off the ground. He'd endeavor not to attempt to do that to Caedus, considering his prior hesitance with most physical contact in general.
The screen flickered. He jumped.
Caedus was speaking so much quicker. Imagined that Caedus had the sense the connection was going to--
"I look forward to all of that." Encke babbled, the words spilling out like the waterfall on Pendour. "Stay safe, Caedus. I want to--"
The smile.
And the picture was gone.
He leaned back on the bench, his gaze drifting up to the sky above with a heavy ********--," was the wisp really taking
now to wave in front of his face-- "Wisp, I'll be alright. Hard to see someone again after so long and then for things to drop, right--" He glanced around the glow in his eyes to look up to the stars above.
"But soon."
Caedus' words had felt like a promise. He was looking forward to its fulfillment.
