"Well," Goretti began, because he wasn't quite sure he wanted to meet Remarque, but...she looked so happy. Even if this was the guy she complained about for all those years, it was good that he was at least taking care of her; he wondered how well they got along now.
"I think we've got anything we put our mind to, Lenka," he said, and smiled once more. It reached his eyes and shined through the sadness; he squeezed her pinky a little extra to make sure she got the message. "We can make it through anything. You're strong, you always have been," he reminded. "And if you trust Remarque, well then. Yeah, I do too. I'll meet him sometime."
Even if the idea was completely intimidating and he couldn't imagine what he was supposed to do or say--he'd still do it for Lenka.
"I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. I want to make it special. I wish I'd ran into you earlier tonight so we could have stayed and talked later. I don't want to go, I feel like I'll never see you again! But I'm so excited for tomorrow, I want it to be here quicker!

Lenka nodded, looking far more relaxed. “I wish we had run into one another quicker too...but tomorrow! I’ll see you tomorrow! It’ll be great! And...maybe someday we can make a day of it and you could take me to your homeworld?” She sounded a little hopeful, and quite a bit wistful.
“I’m not able to go to mine anymore. But...we can go up there and just...talk or whatever. Even spend the night if you want! Camping trip to Goretti!”
And they could talk and talk and...it would feel like she really had her life back, at least a little.
“Thank you...for trusting Remarque. He’s really kind, and he does take care of me really well.” She finally, reluctantly drew away, but leaned forward and kissed the senshi’s cheek, just because it felt right to do so. “I’ll see you tomorrow! Bring good food. I’ll bring the cookies.”

Goretti’s heart skipped a beat, and for a split second he wondered if she knew, but…
He could tell by her expression that she didn’t, and that he was looking for signs that weren’t there. “Tomorrow will be great, we’ll definitely make a plan to go camping! I’ve hardly even been back up there, Lenka, but there’s so much to explore. I found a key up there, but I never found the door it was supposed to go to. I’ve never spent the night before, either! It’ll be really exciting. Don’t worry about the food, I’ll bring the best. I know exactly what I’m bringing.”
His father worked at a restaurant, he knew everything on the menu. Of course he knew her favorite.
“And don’t let Remarque worry about you hanging out with me! Tell him I don’t want trouble. Tell him I’m just happy to have my friend back.”

“He won’t give me any grief about it. Don’t worry. If he does, I’ll deal with it.” Lenka said with a smile that showed more confidence than she felt. “See you tomorrow, Goretti. I hope you have a wonderful night.”
And she gave one last hug before trotting off and slipping into a mirror that was hidden under some brush. Sure, she might have been showing off, but she also thought that she might start crying again if she stayed any longer but…
...But it was Goretti.
...She really wasn’t alone any longer.
