Laine Stiles
Laine didn't feel herself being laid down, or transported to the bathroom, or even placed in the tub of warm water. However, the sensations of all the moment outside of her mind were almost made vivid to her in her dream. She dreamed that her body was submerged as she continued to sink down into the comforting stream. Her body was beginning to function again and she began to realize that this wasn't a dream anymore. Her groggy eyes fluttered open and slowly she observed her surroundings. She was in the bathroom of the hotel room, Chris was sitting on the stained toilet looking down at her. She concluded that she was in the bathtub and that Chris must has placed her there to raise her body heat. He must have panicked by taking to much of her blood and this must have been the solution. She slowly sat up and noticed she was still fully clothed. She didn't have another set of clothes to wear once she got out and she couldn't keep her wet uniform on either. It was far to cold outside as well as inside and the last thing she needed was to get sick. More importantly, he'd have to get himself wet in order to get her out of the tub because she was still far to weak to stand. She wished he would have thought things through a bit and gotten her some food, like juice or a cookie instead. Laine didn't want to deter him or douse his spirit so instead she lied, "Thanks...this feels a lot better..." She smiled falsely hoping he wouldn't feel to much guilt and pulled the pug to drain the water. Once drained, she attempted to pull herself up but it was painfully clear that she was still drained of strength. Also, she was already beginning to feel a chill as she tried to search around for a towel.

Don't Let The Last Hope Beside You Die
Chris smiled slightly when Laine finally opened her eyes. "Welcome, don't worry about your clothes as soon as I make sure you are back in the bedroom with a blanket, I'll be heading to the nearest store." He said as he watched the female pull the plug and try to grab a towel. The vampire grabbed it and wrapped it around her. "Try not to move too much, I should have tried something else but I don't think well when I am panicking." He picked her back up and headed into the bedroom.
After placing the female back down on the bed and covering her up, "first things first, what size clothes do you wear und where is the nearest store so I don't get caught by the police?" Chris asked, making sure he still had his wallet, which he did. It wouldn't be good if the cops had that since it had his information in it. Chris was far to considerate and to trusting of a stranger he'd just met. That sentimentality for others will get him killed one day if he doesn't watch his back. As she had already predicted, he didn't think well when panicked so the bathtub seemed like a reasonable solution now. Before she could reply back, he had already promised to get her some new clothes as he wrapped her in a towel. Transporting her back to the bedroom, he covered her in the sheets and asked quickly for her clothes size and store location. "Small, and the nearest store is around the corner on Waller St." He should be fine since he was wearing all dark clothes so he'd blend into the night. Plus, she seriously doubted her father saw them escape together among the frenzy.
Once he left, she got herself out of bed as to not soak the sheets, but clung to the side in case she fell. She was a little shaky, but the sensation was starting to pass and she just felt numb. After around ten minutes she heard a knock of the door and perked up a bit. That was rather fast, but then again, Chris is a vampire and she heard some vampires possessed powers of incredible speed. Without dwelling on it to much, she pushed herself over to the wall for support and moved to the door opening it. Instead of Chris standing in the dilapidated door frame, it was her father. Her eyes widened and her stomach sank as she stood there frozen like a deer in headlights. Her father was tall and built despite his alcohol addiction. He had short blonde hair and blue eyes to match hers. He smirked triumphantly and before Laine could speak or move he slapped her hard across the face knocking her down to the floor. Walking in nonchalantly, he closed the door behind them and locked the latch.
"You really thought you could run away!" As Laine struggled to get up, her father roughly grabbed a hand full of her hair and yanked her off the floor. Laine could barely comprehend the pain or make out of barrage of insults as her ears rang. She groaned and cockily spat out, "Go to hell...." She was thrown to the ground and kicked in the stomach causing her to throw up from just how hard she was winded. She grasped for air trying to remain conscious as her father bent down grabbing her by her hair again. "Say something like that again! I dare you, you little maggot!" She threw her against a bedside table near the bed knocking over the old fashioned lamp that shattered against the hard carpeted floor. Blood dripped down Laine's forehead as she tried to get up as she saw her father coming towards her. He crotched down over her and put his hands around her neck choking her. Laine struggled gasping for air as she fumbled round for the broken shards of the lamp on the side of her. Her father was in such a blind rage that he didn't see she had secured a large porcelain piece. As a last stitch effort to save herself, she used all her strength to stab his chest with the porcelain piece. She must have struck his heart because his eyes widened and he loosened his grip immediately. He looked down at Laine as blood seeped from his chest. With adrenaline driving her, she shoved the piece into his chest further as he choked out inaudible words before falling to his side convulsing a bit until he died.
The gravity of what Laine had down didn't sink in until she sat up and examined the blood all over her hands. She looked over to her father's corpse still trying to catch her breath as her head pounded. A voice inside her head repeated over and over, 'You killed your owe father...murder...murder...' If Chris did come in, she didn't even notice.
(I'm so sorry I took so long. I lot has happened and I hope you can forgive me.)

Chris mangled the lock when he came in, obviously he was more frightened than she was. Placing a concerned hand on her shoulder, he advised her to wash up and keep it together before anyone realizes a homicide has taken place. As if on autopilot, Laine stood up and went into the bathroom without a word. She stuck her hands under the sink and watched as the blood stained the porcelain sink red. Her face was drained of color and couldn't stop shaking uncontrollably. She knew she had to ditch her wet clothes so she stripped immediately and walked back into the room naked. She didn't even think of Chris's embarrassment or his reactions. She grabbed the bag of the floor and got dressed in front of him without a thought. He had brought her a black band t-shirt and a pair of black shorts which she stuffed the oversized t into them. He also got her a pair of black thigh stockings which blended perfectly with her black boots. She threw her school jacket back on since it had been left on the floor and wasn't on her when she was placed in the tub. She hadn't forced on what Chris had said until she had finished dressing. "Woods...Chris you're not actually suggesting we ditch the body in the woods..." She felt queasy as she looked at her father's corpse. She then looked into Chris eyes and said sadly, "You should leave me...this isn't your burden...I killed my own father...and the twisted thing is that I'd do it again give the chance." She could feel her lips curl in a sinister smirk before she realized that she must have looked like a psychopath to him. She walked up to him and looked up into his eyes, "Are you scared of me? Do you hate me? If so, that should give you a clue to get lost..." she put a shakily hand on his chest trying to shove him away hoping he'd leave with a fight.

His intention was to leave town as quickly as possible which was a smart move, but didn't have obligations to stay here? What about his band? Will they be able to find them? As for her, what about school and her life...to hell with it. School had meant nothing to her and the only life she'd known was now lying on a dirty motel floor in a pool of blood. She guessed Chris had his ways of communication and would get back to his life eventually. She figured once he leaves her she'll be on the run for the rest of her life which honestly didn't bother her as much as it should have. For now, they needed to get to a woodland area so Chris could transform into a wolf.
Chris cleverly took out the porcelain shard from her father's chest and washed it off in the sink before hiding it in his coat. Trying to erase any evidence that may be linked to them. Eventually, the cops and investigators will be on her tail, but she'd worry about that another time. Luckily, her and Chris would be linked together a little longer since he refused to leave her after she'd given him her blood. She didn't quiet understand the bond, but many aspects about his species were unknown to her. Besides, a vampire being scared of a scrawny human girl seemed preposterous. After the two had calmed down a bit, he asked her about the woods again and she answered softly, "About an hour and a half outside city limits. It's past midnight so the busses are no longer running. We'll hotwire a car." The suggestion to steal a car was non-negotiable and without argument she gestured for the vampire to follow her.
They exited the back of the building and found a car shortly. She broke the window with a rock and hotwired it so fast that poor Chris didn't have time to contemplate their plan. The drive felt like a fever dream as Laine drove in silence focusing on the road diligently. They make it close to a woodland area where they ditched the car at a nearby truck stop. They lot was pretty empty so no one noticed them as they fled into the dark woods. Laine kept close to Chris since the only light she has was the moonlight itself and she was positive the Chris had some kind of nocturnal vision. It wasn't long until they were into the thick of the woods where Chris could transform safely. At this point, Laine was dragging her feet and was wondering how she'd managed to stay conscious this whole time. Her heavy eyes looked to Chris as they stood in a small clearing under the warm moonlight. "Are you going to transform?" She asked tiredly trying to keep her mind occupied.

Laine watched in fascination as Chris shifted from a man to a beast in a matter of seconds. His form doubled over crunching and cracking as his bone structure transformed. Fur as black as night covered his body and large claws protruded from his massive paws. His eyes turned a supernatural icy blue that was mesmerizing as she walked towards him curiously. She wanted to pet his muzzle, but he seemed eager to go, as to where though, she had no idea. He advised her to hop on as he crouched down for her to get saddled on him like a horse. She had so many questions and was glad he could communicate telepathically rather than at all. Those questions would have to wait though since the main question needed to be answered. "Where are we going?" She asked exhausted as she threw one leg over his back and saddled herself on top of him. When he stood, she clutched a section of his back fur and stiffened her frame so she wouldn't slip off.

Chris was hoping they'd stumble upon an abandoned building, which didn't seem likely but after the night she's had there was hardly room for doubt. Chris was alive and free as he weaved through the trees becoming familiar with his other form again. Meanwhile, Laine was trying to best not to doze off but she could feel herself losing her grip. Chris was putting all his faith into his band that would bail them out tomorrow. No bail him out...she had a plan to ditch Chris in the morning. She wasn't sure if he could go out in daylight or not, but either way she couldn't stay with him. He didn't deserve a life of crime, and he's far to modest towards a complete stranger. Especially, considering she killed her own father and didn't feel an ounce of remorse for doing so.
As luck would have it, they found an old building, a miniature castle of sorts. Laine instantly new what it was, an abandoned theme park attraction or at least the start of one. Chris made some joke about it being a witch's house and by the theme it could have been. "Funny, Chris. It's suppose to be part of a theme park, but was never fully constructed. Instead of moving the materials, people left the project unfinished and picked up else where." Laine shook her head as he mentioned ghost causing her to snort. "A vampire scared of ghosts, that's rich." After Chris had bent down as she got off almost losing her footing. Her vision kept blurring in and out which forced her to lean on Chris for support. He was prefect height in his wolf form as the two walked towards the ajar door. The building was hallow inside, as expected, but at least the roof was finished. As she replied through a yarn, "Sunlight won't get you here...Chris...." She was trailing off as her consciousness was beginning to fail her. With what little strength she had left she pushed off Chris and attempted to make it to a wall to huddle against. The last thing she felt was her legs buckle under her as she got ready to crash to the floor passed out.

Laine's groggy eyes fluttered open around the last afternoon. Since it was nearing fall the days of sunlight grew shorter and from the looks of the dimming golden light seeming through the crevices, she guessed it was around four. She lifted her stiff body from the ground, her head throbbed painfully as she adjusted herself to the new surroundings. As she sat up she felt something heavy and warm slip off of her. It was Chris's leather jacket, it smelt of grave soil, woods, and a hint of blood. However, the combinations of smells wasn't offending, actually she found it appeasing. She smiled lightly to herself and was thankful that Chris was the sweetest guy she'd ever had the pleasure of meeting. Sadly, their companionship would have to end here. She'd never forgive herself if he kept sticking his neck out for her, she didn't deserve it...she didn't deserve him.
Standing up, she groaned quietly as she tried to stretch out her body and ignore that massive headache. Her eyes catch Chris in a darkened corner sleeping soundlessly. Picking up his jacket, she walked over to him and gently laid it over his body hoping he wouldn't stir. From the looks of it though, he appeared dead, which made since for a vampire anyway. Laine leaned down and gave him a peck on his cheek as a goodbye kiss. It was frozen to the touch, but in on means unpleasable. She backed away blushing slightly and glad he wasn't conscious to see her embarrassment. "We're even now..." She whispered to herself sadly as she made her way out of the abandoned attraction. She was in the middle of the woods and didn't no where to go. She closed her eyes for a moment to think when she felt a up wind breeze ruffle her hair and clothes. Following the flow seems as good of a start as any and without hesitation she marched forward hoping to make some good distance between her and Chris.
After about thirty minutes, she came upon a small creek and decided to follow that upwards. As she walked along, the sun was setting fast and darkness was nearly upon her. She wouldn't be able to see soon, which was far from a good sign. By some miracle, luck was on her side because not to far off in the distance she heard the sound of cars. They were unknowingly close to a freeway this entire time which had to be a stroke of good fortune. Then again, when she thought about it logically, if that theme park attraction was abandoned in the woods some time ago, the people building it would need easy access to get back to it day in and day out. Laine continued on until she got to the side of the roar relieved she had made it out of the woods right before sun down. Now all she had to do was wait for a car to pass and stick out her thumb. She had never hitch-hiked before but what other choice did she have. Seeing the headlights of a car up ahead, she jetted out her thumb and hoped they would stop.
(So...I think this is a prefect opportunity to either bring the band members in...or Chris's brother...or someone new. If you don't think of someone don't worry, I got a few ideas in mind)

Sarah was talking to Toni on speaker while she drove. "I wish you would have left with me instead of waiting for Lucy, I mean what if Chris was in trouble?" On the other side of the conversation, the white haired vampire sighed, "look, Kris would be fine with you Sara. The demon shouldn't be out unless he is near death or…" The witch cut him off there, "yeah, it's that 'or' I'm worried about. You know how trouble likes to follow him around." Suddenly she saw Laine and pulled over. "I have to let you go call you later." She said before hanging up and rolled down her window. "Where are you heading my dear?"

The van pulled over immediately, as if the driver had been expecting Laine to be there. Once the blackened window was down, she got a good look of the driver inside. She was a gorgeous redhead, with vibrant eyes, and flawless skin. She had to be a model or in some kind of performance profession especially seeing the exotic black outfit she wore. Laine was almost speechless before she found her words again. "Where ever you're heading." She said bluntly because honestly she had no earthy idea where to go. Laine didn't wait for her to ask questions as she hopped into the passenger's seat and got settled in. The car was warm and smelled of incenses which seemed fitting for the driver. Laine must have looked like a dirty rat compared to her pristine driver. She assumed she didn't smell the greatest either after spending the night in the woods. "So...the name's Laine. What's your name and what brings you out here in this neck of the woods?" She decided to make small talk to lessen the awkwardness of their encounter.
