...No.

"I think so." Colm said instead. Because he did hope that this time would be different. It wasn't that he wanted to lie to his brother, but - that he felt he had to in this situation. He was a big brother and when their father died... he'd have to be there for his mother and brother. He wasn't stupid enough to believe those Oban's who liked to joke about children being the 'man of the house', but he did... take it to heart that he, at least, held a bit more responsibility.

"If they do something that gives us more time with him...? Wouldn't that be worth it?"

He squeezed Arden, then glanced towards the ramp that led down under the deck. Because it was all fine to talk about whether the healers could help him, but - there was even the question of if he would survive this TRIP. "I'm sure there's stories Father hasn't told us yet. Things he hasn't taught us, and he's just waiting until he feels good enough to tell us more."

Arden had his doubts, but so long as his big brother had faith then he should too, right? Maybe, just maybe, Belrea had some sort of technique that he just couldn't think of right now. It seemed stupid and made up, like a story they tell kids before bed, but....

Wasn't that all they had right now?

Hearing a noise to his left, Arden looked over to see an older sailor clapping a young boy on the shoulder, laughing at some silly mistake he'd made. The boy was flustered, clearly embarrassed, but the older man was all smiles. "Yeah, I guess it's worth it." If father could feel better just once more and they could play again it would be better. Just one more time...

"We should probably check in." He didn't WANT to go below deck but Arden also didn't want his mother to worry more than she already was.

Colm followed Arden's gaze over to the sailors, frowning a bit as he considered them. But... at least Arden agreed. He looked back at him again, his own expression soft with relief that Arden seemed to have calmed down, at least a bit. He squeezed him, then moved back - shuffling to the edge of the crate.

"I suppose. Help me down, I hate this ship..."

Without the trepidation, or upset stomach, of his brother Arden hopped onto the deck. He swayed a little with the natural movement of the ship, but instead of being upset by it he felt curious. At least this part of it wasn't terrible to him.

"Just don't get sick on me." Reaching out, he took his older brother's hand and guided him towards the ramp. "Keep it in until we find a bucket."

"Ha ha." Colm said, blandly, taking his brother's hand as he clambered down. Once there, he turned to face him and made a spewing motion from his mouth with his hand, his expression remaining neutral and unaffected, "Bleeeh"

Only after did he crack a teasing smile and push his brother gently, following him slowly, careful of his roiling stomach.
