"So that would explain why you didn't speak up." Kaimana winced at his own words before holding up a hand. "Sorry." He apologized quickly before glancing about once more. "Well I suppose there's a mess that we shouldn't be caught with." If he had to pick between a group of thugs and a mute teenage boy then he would take his chances and side with the boy in this situation. He pursed his lips thoughtfully, his gaze attentive when he studied the boy's positioning, and after another moment he simply shrugged. It wouldn't be his first time getting into a fight with thieves and unfortunately it probably wouldn't be his last. The kid was already having a bad day so it wouldn't do any good to just attack him with questions and make him think about painful things.
"Unless you want to stick around I would suggest we move along. Care to show me to a place to shop? We can uh....replace some of these things for you while I pick up my own?" Kaimana gave a slight shrug as if he didn't care what the teen decided to do. "Unless you'd rather not help a foreigner navigate the city? Especially when he's willing to buy you things as a thank you for the help? I was hopelessly lost as it was before getting distracted."

Eliazer just slowly shook his head. The whole thing was...a lot to handle on any given day, but it wasn’t this man’s fault. If anything he stopped when he didn’t have to and Eli was grateful for it. So, to the best of his ability he slowly mouthed ‘thank you’ and motioned around them. He might have come out of this okay, but he would have been robbed either way.
Looking around at all of his ruined belongings just made him tired on an emotional level. Replacing this wouldn’t be easy and he was sure that his mother was going to be mad...Quirking his brow, he thought of the stranger's offer. Normally he wouldn’t easily accept help from a stranger, but in this case his hands were tied.
So, Eliazer nodded and mouthed ‘I’ll help’ before motioned back towards the alley entrance. They needed to get moving soon before someone showed up.

Okay, that was either 'thank you' or something far more inappropriate. Kaimana hoped it was the better option, especially considering the situation, and when the teen nodded in agreement he found himself smiling. "Good. I'm tired of walking around in circles as it is." He admitted before gesturing forward for the teen to lead the way. Hopefully at least he could stick around just a bit longer while they gathered supplies so that he could at least take care of any future trouble for today. Kaimana reached out and touched a hand to his shoulder before rolling it, the motion making him wince slightly. He would definitely need a patch for that later. "Maybe there's a healer along the way as well?" He found himself asking as he waited for the teen to lead the way

What was he doing on this side of town anyway? Had he purposefully come here because he didn’t have enough coin to spend time in the more traveler friendly sections of town? Just from looking at him Eliazer could make his guess, but he knew more than most that appearances could be deceiving.
A healer? Eliazer nodded and motioned town the street, then turned his hand to the left. There was one nearby, one that was relatively cheap to see too, but she had a rough hand. Hopefully the matorian would be alright with that. Eliazer nodded his head down the street before taking off at a slow walk.

And here we go. Kaimaina smiled as he followed the teen away from the mess and down a new street. While the walk itself was quiet the rest of the day would be filled with Kaimana talking as he pointed out things and tried to translate the motions that the teen made towards him. He figured that with enough effort and time they could make some sort of conversation occur even without actual words. Well at least from the teen. Kaimana flushed at the thought before continuing along the way towards what he hoped was a healer.
