"Sure!" Omari grinned brightly as his offer was accepted. "I'll make certain you get there safely." He promised as his chest swelled with pride. He was going to be helpful! The little hybrid adored offering aid and it was nice knowing that he could make a difference in someone's day like this. The youngling bounced back on his heels as he remembered his manners and he found himself trying to still so that he could appear more patient and not completely eager to dash away. "Just let me know whenever you're ready and I can lead the way." He offered with a small smile, his sandals digging into the sand as he twisted his feet in the ground while he spoke. Surely his mother wouldn't mind some company! And he knew where the tea was so he could even make tea if necessary. More than anything the school would be cool with plenty of shade thanks to the trees and the hedges that were growing around the great stone building.

“Such a gentleman.” Asa had to bite back the urge to laugh again. He was just so proud of himself that he couldn’t keep from smiling. It was honestly adorable. Getting back to his feet was a little more exhausting than Asa would have liked, but the break helped to get his balance back. After taking a breath - as deeply as he could - and brought the scarf back up around his head. While he wasn’t entirely sure how helpful it actually was the older women at the inn swore by it, so he found himself at the mercy of their wisdom. “Is it very far?”

Omari beamed at the compliment. "Thank you." He replied before patiently waiting, well as patient as the bouncing youngling could be, for the iceling to get to his feet. "Not far at all." He promised as he held out a hand towards Asa as if offering to escort him. Omari found nothing strange with him being the one to lead an adult around - especially not when he was the one offering help and he grinned as he took the first step forward. He wanted to grab the other earthling's hand to lead him forward but he remember his family said that not everyone liked being touched and so he stood patiently nearby so that Asa wouldn't lose sight of him while he followed. "We just have to walk to the left here and around this corner." He promised before taking another few steps forward and halting once more. He did that a few times until he finally rounded the corner and gestured towards the manor at the end of the street. It was just below other manors and had plenty of trees that Omari adored and the white stone building with golden accents lingered two stories above the smaller houses further down the street with music faintly drifting out from a smaller building adjacent to the main house where some of the students were probably dancing. Something which was confirmed whenever silence was met with a series of giggles as a trio emerged and skipped onto the street . Even though the classes were ending for the day his mother was probably inside the main building still - at least that much Omari hoped so that he could introduce his new friend to her whenever her meeting with the fancy Obans finally finished.
"There it is!" He called out as he looked back toward Asa with a grin.

Ah, to have the energy of a child. He could practically feel it emanating off Omari. He hadn’t expected the hand, but what else could he be wanting if it was extended out like that? So, the iceling took it in his own and gave it a little squeeze. “Alright then, let’s get going.” It was comforting to know that not only was it close enough that Asa wouldn’t be too winded, but also that Omari hadn’t wandered too far away from his mother. Still, it bothered him that the boy had gotten away at all, but maybe Omari wasn’t as much of a handful as his own troublemaker.
“Hopefully your mother won’t mind me being around. I won’t stay long; I wouldn’t want to trouble her more than I already will.”

"You won't be a bother at all!" Promised Omari as he gave the hand a squeeze and gently tugged Asa after him. He planned on asking someone to make them some fruit water as soon as they entered so that they could get rid of the iceling's cough. Omari was worried that he had eaten too much desert sand but hopefully something nice to drink and a cool building would help with that! The hybrid beamed at the thought before making his way towards the double doors that would allow them into the waiting room that was just inside.
