"I'm okay." Airi mumbled, moving some to let Lupu get to Evan. His ears twitched upwards at the mention of a bed. "When I had the collar, I use to do that on Fangite's bed till my time on the here was up. He was never happy when he had to fight me for his own bed." He grinned slightly before it faded away. The youma watched the Knight for a moment. "It's okay. It was an accident. You were just trying to protect Evan. I've been in that spot before. For what its worth, I would have probably done the same thing if our roles were reversed." Airi really couldn't blame Lupu to much for that. "I have no real home, or at least nothing I consider to be." He turnned his head at Evan, curiously. "What are you on about. You don't have to be better. I like you for who you are. I always have. Be it human, or back then. You have done more for me then you realize. You are one of the only friends I have." Airi rolled his eyes at the Knights nervousness. Jeez... The youma stood, moving over to Lupu before knocking him over. He then promptly laid down on the man, carefully. "I'm not moving till he says my name, without having an anxiety attack in doing so." He grinned impishly at Evan before turning and nosing at Lupu's hand. "Lysithea was suppose to be setting up a meeting for me and Evan, but I guess something came up." Once Lupu's hand was on his muzzle, he dropped his head. "Watch the spikes. They aren't coated but you will still give yourself a nasty scratch. I'm not going to hurt him. Or you." The youma shrugged a shoulder, careful not to hurt the Knight in anyway. "It's whatever Evan wants to do at this point. If he wants to get Lysithea and try then fine. I won't fight you guys on it anymore. If I turn into a ghost though, I'm haunting all you guys."

Evan was torn for a lot of reasons, because the hand at his back distinctly made him feel like he should go along with Lupu, like he could agree and comply. He wasn’t worried about Lupu hurting him, but there was an anxiousness that was always bubbling in the pit of his stomach when things like this happened.
He’d been briefly alarmed when Airi moved--knocked Lupu over--and laid on him, and while it added to his anxiousness, he hoped that the youma’s words would have been enough to calm Lupu.
“Airi,” he chided, albeit it was both half hearted and desperate. His eyes shot to Lupu, and there was a pleading look in them. “I’m sorry,” he said to Lupu, like he even had to apologize for Airi. “Yes, I want to go home, but I--I can’t just leave him. I haven’t spoken to Lysithea about this, I had no idea. And if he could purify--if he was going to try...”
There was that desperate, pleading voice again.
“You know Airi. I’ve told you about him,” he said softly, and it was clear that Evan was still vulnerable about the time he’d spent as a youma.
His attention returned to Airi. “You won’t become a ghost. Everybody worked so hard last time. They’d work hard for you, too. We could call her tonight,” he suggested, looking up at Lupu. “I’m sure you have some way of getting in contact with her easily, with your ring?”
Or he could text her, but Evan really still hadn’t told Airi that he was a Senshi, yet, and it seemed like he was saving it for the last moment. “...Maybe she could get a few people together to help out. I mean,” he looked to Airi. “Unless you’re not ready. Unless you’re not certain. I could give you a whole speech on why it’s worth it--and if you’re alone. Airi, please. I’m your best friend!” he protested. “I wouldn’t lead you astray. And you know we’ve wanted to help you for years. You know we haven’t given up on you yet. We want you to be safe.”

Lupu really…really hated the fact that Evan wasn’t coming with him...wasn’t leaving this dangerous situation and going home.
He had half a mind to just throw the male over his shoulders, dust the youma and make a break for it but...but then the youma was on top of him. Like a mutant bear sized furnace. “What...what the ********? Get off!” But the youma’s muzzle was pressed into his hand, and with a roll of his eyes that almost hurt, he grudgingly began to stroke it. “Stupid...I’m not going to have an anxiety attack because of you. Just because I thought Evan was hurt. He’s my whole world, you know.”
His eyes flickered up to Evan and his expression softened just a little. “...Oh. You’re the one who kept him safe...his friend...yeah, they’ve both talked about you. Evan and Lysithea...you...really want to do this now? Let me up...I’ll um...send her a note, if you want?”
Lupu looked surprised but then sighed softly and ran a finger down the length of the youma’s muzzle. “...Airi.”
If the threat could be neutralized in another way….that was fine too.

"Whaaaat? He's fine! I promise!" Airi whined, trying not to laugh as Evan chided him, his tail thumping against the ground as Lupu stroked his muzzle. "Hmmm. You might have if I had switched forms. Oh!" He turned his head towards Evan again. "So uh, Lys found out I could do that, and she was not happy I kept that from her. She was mad she could have had hugs this whole time." But the youma did as promised and moved off Lupu. "I mean... Same? I did not have many friends inside the Negaverse. I had my partner yes, but Evan was one of the only other people who saw me as something other then a hulking beast. He might not have been able to protect me the way I could him back then but he was still my friend and made me happy.." He looked at them both curiously. "...How are you going to send her a note..?" The youma's ears twitched in Lupu's general direction and he grinned. "...See? That wasn't so hard now was it. I never was a threat to him." He said, almost as he'd read the others mind. Then the youma pouted. "A certain someone else, maybe. But Evan's made me swear six ways from Sunday that I don't do anything." He grumbled, looking generally displeased. But then he had to think about it for a minute. Did he want to do this now? Was it better to wait? "Honestly.. You and Lysithea have both given me that speech enough times...You... would know better about this then I would... Is it better to wait? Or just do it... It's not like I have anything to bring, just that collar." But he wasn't going to need something like that would he? It seemed like a silly notion to him. But Evan was right about one thing. "You are my best friend. It's your call. If you want to do this, then lets do this."

Evan looked a little frantic at the information Lupu was sharing, that he was his whole world--because he was so paranoid that someone was going to find out who he was. He’d worked so hard to try and keep it a secret that he was a Senshi, that he wasn’t just lucky to be friends with a Senshi, but if anyone overheard, if anyone put two and two, if they followed Evan to see who he hung out with, who he was engaged to…
Everything inside of him felt like it was twisting, and now more than ever, all he could think about was getting Airi purified so they could just be safe. All of them, be safe.
Something eased in him when Lupu stroked down his muzzle, when he said his name so gently.
“We should do it now,” he said, before the thought had even really settled in. “Before ‘something else comes up’. Lupu,” he looked at him and swallowed. “If you can ask if Lysithea can do it, if she can get enough people together. We should try.”
He looked back to Airi, “I have so much I want to tell you, so much to catch up on. But it’s safer if--please, Airi,” he said, and he put his whole heart into it. He looked to Lupu apologetically. “...I just want him to be safe. I want to be safe. I want to be able to introduce you two properly. And I know what it’s like,” his eyes were back on Airi. “With that voice in your head, that can hear what you think, that can command you. I want you to be free of that. I don’t want you to be anyone’s pawn anymore. I want you to be safe. I want you to come home. But it’ll only work if that’s what you want, too. So all you have to do is say yes, and we’ll make it happen, I swear. And I’ll be with you, through all of it.”

Lupu nodded and withdrew a piece of paper from his subspace pocket along with a pen and scribbled a hasty note to Lysithea, and one to Adria, just because he knew that the senshi was one who could do this. When the notes were done, he stamped them both with his signet ring and sent them, still stroking the youma’s muzzle gently.
“It's something that you get when you’re a knight. You get to send letters to people. Don’t worry, Airi. Evan and I will both be with you through it. If you’re ready now. Then we’ll do it now. And when it’s over, you’ll have a nice bed to sleep in.”
He looked at Evan and gave a small smile, nodding to the male. “Then you’ll get your friend, Ev. And we’ll all...sleep a bit easier.” Maybe this would put an end to some of the last nightmares that Evan had...that...that would be wonderful.
“All we can do is wait now, I guess. I hope that they’ll come. I’m sure they will. Lysithea doesn’t dally.”

"Like... now now?" He asked hesitantly, looking between the two. Airi's head tilted curiously, shifting closer towards Lupu to watch what he was doing. He made a noise as the note disappeared, pressing his muzzle into Lupu's hand and carefully rubbing his head against the mans arm. The youma fixed Evan with an odd look. "...Are you not safe?" Maybe there was more then he knew going on. Was he putting Evan at risk by being here? Maybe Lupu had been right to shoot him on sight. He sighed, ears flattening. "It... was a bit easier to ignore that voice when Fangite was around... When you were around. I don't like that voice." He admitted with a wince. "I still wonder why no ones dusted me permanently yet." With a sigh, he pulled himself away from Lupu and padded over to Evan. "Okay.. Yes." He said softly. "Iolite's gonna be pissed at me... We've both kinda left her to do her own thing, haven't we?" Maybe that was a problem for another day. "Just uh, one question, before we do this..." He asked sheepishly. "...I'm not going to get shot again, am I?"
