He couldn't eat it all, and he tried as hard as he could though.
He'd left bits of uneaten breads all over the small playhouse floor and ants were starting to come in by the next morning when Iniko had woken up.
He brushed some off a piece and tried to eat it before spitting it out, "Yucky!" He dropped the bread roll back on the floor trying desperately to wipe his tongue. Closer inspection of the bitten bread would have shown he had not in fact, brushed off all he ants and he had quickly learnt. Ants taste gross compared to sweet bread!
He brushed his sticky ant covered hands on his pants, "Oowwie.. Ochie!" He started wriggling on the spot and grabbed at his pants and shirt, swatting his hands all over his body, before springing to his feet, "No, NOOO STAAAP! OOWWIEEE" He bolted from his makeshift home, dancing around smacking at his body frantically. He spied a pond and ran straight towards it still crying out and hitting himself he plunged into the shallow waters with tears streaming down his face.
The water helped a little at first, but then the biting became more frequent and angry! As if whatever was attacking him was angry with him for getting them wet!
"STOP IT!" He cried out, raising his fit's in the air and splashing them back down into the water, helplessly against his invisible attacker. As he moved little spikes rippled across his skin, the pattern of colours changing rapidly from flat to sharp spikes as they burst up through his skin. He cried out louder as it felt like being pierced by a thousand needles all across his body.. But in a second it was over... There was no further pain either... His chest heaved as he fought to catch his breath again, breathless after the sudden pain. "What was that!?" He shrieked jumping to his feet staring at his hands, he was shaking all over, cold, wet, he could feel all the places he'd been bitten smarting and he was muddy too. The water around his feet had a slight pinkish hue to it, it got a little darker the closer to his body it was.
Iniko's breathing became rapid, as he stood staring down at his hands, What was going on?

Iniko had bolted from the water as soon as he could manage to make his feet listen to him, once more he was darting through the city trying not to run into anyone and keeping himself out of the bustling streets and in the quieter ally ways. Most of the ally ways smelled awful compared to his first find. None of them had anything edible, at least not for him, the bugs could have it.
He had wandered around until another new smell caught his nose, the pain he'd recently gone though now a thing of past. He inhaled deeply, this new smell was a little spicy and strangely heavy in the air. He followed his nose, his wings flittering behind him lifting him so he had to walk on his toes.
His nose brought him to the front of a butchers shop, rows of meats stacked the windows, one section was a variety of sausages all strung together, hung up next to what looked like browned bits of meat compared to the pink bits on the other side.. He didn't know the difference but the browned meats looked more appetising then the pinker ones. His mouth watered as he watched someone inside bagging up one of the pre-cooked meat selections for a customer. The worker left the siding cover ajar and turned their backs to talk to the customer.
Iniko didn't even need prompting, he quickly dashed forward and swiped a string of sausages from the bunch and yanked them free the same way he'd just seen the worker do and fled off down the street again, angry voices hot on his tail.
Iniko fled with his prize, stuffing one of the plump spiced sausages into his mouth as he ran. It was zingy and so good! Almost melted in his mouth as he chewed. He dashed into what looked like an abandoned building and hid under a bench trying to quieten his breathing once more.
Whom ever had been following him searched around but left not discovering Iniko in his shadowy hiding place. He nommed on some more of the sausages smiling happily to himself for his accomplishments.
"Mrreow?"
A noise disturbed Iniko from his meal, he looked around and noticed a orangy tabby cat sitting in the middle of the room staring at him... "Shhh, go away." he hissed at it.
"Mrrrreww?"
The orange thing had seemed to repeat itself, "I said, go away." Iniko repeated slower, an then bit into another sausage.
The tabby cats tail swished, and flicked around behind it. "MmmRrrrrr" it made a strange noise as its ears went back, the flickering of its tail intensified as it crouched down, its eyes seeming to grow larger before it pounced at Iniko, sinking claws into his skin as it tried to snatch some sausage from him, and quite successfully too. It bolted as soon as its mouth came into contact with the meat from the sausage, breaking off a few as it ran. They trailed behind it as it bolted from the room.
"No! OUCH!" Iniko cried out again as the animal attacked him, stealing part of his food and running off. Trying to ignore his new ouchies he scurried to his feet and gave chase. He managed to corner the ginger cat in the next room where it turned to face him dropping the food from its mouth and hissing vehemently at him. Iniko just wanted his food back and made to grab for the dropped sausages but the ginger fur ball moved faster.
"WAAAHHHHHHHHHHH~! Iniko fled from the place scream crying, for the animal had scratched his hand up and bit at him leaving it bleeding and him frightened. He'd even dropped the rest of his own sausages in his fright and he wasn't even going to try go back for them.
He scurried along ally ways looking for somewhere safe he could hide away from the world.

>This entery is just a sticky bit of candy wrapper.
A kind older lady gave him a candy and cleaned up his cat scratches.
When she asked where Iniko's family was he told her "At home, his mam's sick an he was meant to get soup for her."
The little lady was so nice, just looking at this candy wrapper makes Iniko smile<

>Another wrapper entry, this time not so sticky, but a carefully folded foil wrapper that had once contained his first ever chocolate. Another older person had said "Aren't you just the sweetest thing." and handed it to him.
Looking at it also makes him smile, old people were so nice.<

Iniko doesn't know how to write.. So use you're imagination here....
Iniko has drawn a picture of Liddie, a new friend he made.
Liddie is holding Iniko's hand and Iniko is smiling. So is Liddie. Liddie is holding a book with wiggly lines on it.
If Iniko could write, he would say "I made a frend. Her name is Liddie. She is nice to me and reads books with wiggly lines on them. I like her stories. I like Liddie."

This is another drawing entry. This time it depicts a scary looking bunny rabbit.
Iniko has been to his first ever Halloween party... And a Liddie looking like a Red Queen and him as a Purple Cat. He had turned into a Cheshire Cat and Liddie became a Queen~!
