She cried more when she was given the silent go ahead. He dad wasn't telling her to stop or pushing her away, not that he ever had. His words made her sniff a few times, deep and obnoxiously so she could speak without sounding nasaly. "You think so? I'm not sure." She had a little brother from the orphanage, sure, but this would be different. She was already a teen and now she'd have a baby brother or sister. There was more of an age gap this time. She wouldn't be able to relate, would she?

"Yes, sweetie. You have a big heart even if you can't see it." He chuckled. Gael had always noticed that his daughter seemed to protect those around her without even realizing it. "I think once you see the baby you will realize it yourself too. You will be an amazing big sister to them." He closed his eyes and smiled. Brexxa had been very sisterly to her cousins while growing up so he didn't see how she would have an issue here.

He dad seemed to be doing all that he could to reassure her that she would be good at this. Brexxa had gone from worrying about being replaced to being a crap big sister in a matter of minutes. She still sorta was worried about it. But she couldn't argue with him when he was like this. He had such confidence in her and it was contagious. "If you say so.."

"I do say so." He nodded and lifted his head so that he could look at her. Gael still had his smile in place. Moving his hand up under her chin he made his daughter look up at him. "It'll work out, you'll see. Now come on, lets go back inside. Kalli made a delicious dinner for everyone." His lady had actually made the dinner with Brexxa in mind. Jax wasn't a picky eater but Brexxa liked certain things. "I think you'll like it."

She wasn't yet done with her tears but she couldn't fight when he lifted her head. She shut her eyes tightly to avoid having to look at him. "I don't want to.." Brexxa complained. Mostly she didn't want Jax to see her tear soaked eyes and make fun of her again. He was annoying enough as it was. But her dad said she would like the dinner that was made and usually when he said that it meant her favorites had been made. "Fine, just.. give me a few more minutes."
