The newest letter made her confused. Just where was he now? She read and reread the letter several times hoping she missed some clue but really there was nothing. No hint. She sighed. Still, she set the letter down and looked at the figurine that she now had. It was beautiful and Gael had been right about the colors. They were bright and very pretty to look at. She gently touched it with a finger and smiled to herself. “It is a bit unexpected but I kinda like this..”

Gael 9/10
There would be no letter this time. He’d gotten what he wanted and now he was going to surprise her. Gael knew that she was to perform on the stage that night and what better gift for her than to see him in the audience? He also managed to pick up a single flower on the way. Not a large bouquet like he’d originally thought to do but a single blossom just for her.

She was already on stage and performing her usual routine when she noticed the door open to let another customer in. This wasn’t new as it happened all the time but for some reason she looked toward the door this time. When she did she felt her heart skip a beat. There, standing in the same room as her, was Gael. He was back! She couldn’t help the smile she gave him or even the wink she tossed his way. Like a true professional though she finished her dance before she left the stage to greet him.

He was happy to see he hadn’t missed her performance, though he was surprised when she smiled at him and even winked. That was enough to make a man blush a little. He waited off to the side for her to finish her performance and when she came off the stage he smiled at her. “Hello there. Long time no see.” He offered the flower to her as well. “This is for you Kalli.”

She looked him up and down, taking in that he was alright. Whole and hale. Kalli looked at the flower and smiled but shook her head before she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She was overjoyed to see him back and even more so that he wasn’t hurt from all the storms. “Welcome back Gael. I missed you.”
