His meal was brought out about the same time that Kalliope was introduced. He thanked the server then quietly watched as the woman came out. He was stunned to see a Yaeli beast about her shoulders but it did make him smirk. Where had she gotten that? The market? He knew there were some traders to be found there. Gael watched as she got started and, not wanting to let his meal go cold, he took a few bites.

Kalli 9/10
The music started and she began to move. At first they were slow movements, showcasing her ability to be fluid and seductive. Kalli had learned from several of the bandits what moves went well with what music. They had been her test audience. As she continued on she gave small cues to the minstrel to increase the rhythm, make it faster and more pronounced. I gave her a chance to move about the stage in quick movements that would draw the eye.

The sound of the music went well with the dance. He saw little fault in it at all. What did surprise him was that it wasn’t a traditional Oban dance that she was performing. It made him wonder where she’d trained. As things picked up he discovered that he paid less and less attention to his meal, though it was mostly gone by now.

Without realizing it her eyes had searched for and found the Matorian male from earlier. She wanted to see what his reaction to her dance was. When she located him and their eyes locked she found she liked what she saw there. He admired her for her skill, to be sure, but there was a kindness in the way he watched her. Before she knew it, it was like she was performing for him alone.

When his eyes met Kalli’s on the stage he couldn’t help the smile. She was beautiful. She was moving in a dazzling way. Combine that with the music and he was practically mesmerized. It had been a good choice to skip out on Mrs. Gallan’s food tonight. He now had plans to stay a bit later and hopefully have a conversation with the woman if she would permit it.
